Snippet : Will Kajal be lucky a second time?

With Himesh Reshamiya's music and Nana Patekar in the film, Kajal is hoping to make a mark with Kalidasu.

Actress Kaajal is eagerly awaiting the release of her latest film Kalidasu to hit the screens. Her debut film Laxmi Kalyanam was a flop and she will be hoping to make amends with Kalidasu .

The film being directed by noted Tamil director Bharathi Raja has been shot simultaneously in both Tamil and Telugu. Action hero Arjun is playing the lead in the movie that is in the post production stage currently.

"It’s been a privilege to work with a co-star of the stature of Arjun in my second film. I thoroughly enjoyed myself on the sets of the film."

Himesh Reshammiya has composed the music for the movie which also stars Bollywood star Nana Patekar.

Audio launch - Kalidasu

















Music of Bharati Raja’s latest film Kalidasu was launched today in Hyderabad. Arjun, Kajal Agarwal and Nana Patekar played lead roles. K Raghavendra Rao, Bharati Raja, ML Kumar Chowdary, Chakri, K Lakshmi Narayana Reddy, Ghantasala Ratna Kumar, Raju Harwani and Suresh were present on this occasion.

K Raghavendra Rao released the audio and ML Kumar Chowdary released the audio CD.

Speaking on the occasion director Bharati Raja said, “I directed this film after a long gap. Its common that my films get either dubbed or remade in Telugu. Arjun is acting in my film for the first time. All my previous films were made with village backdrop. But Kalidas film will have urban backdrop with international subject. Bollywood heartthrob Himesh Reshimayya composed music. I feel happy that my friend K Raghavendra Rao attended this launch.” Producer K Lakshmi Narayana Reddy expressed his happiness over dubbing a film directed by a legendry Tamil director like Bharati Raja.
