The evening of Film Fare Award ceremony became a platform of heat. The ladies looked shining like angels and the men looked like cupids.
Of all, Tabu turned every body's heads with her back-open blouse and tempting cleavage show. Hearts of everyone palpitated looking at the secret cleavage of her and the cameras made vain attempt to get away from her. She hugged Amitabh Bachchan on stage very passionately and that turned a big attraction of the event. Even Amitabh hugged her equally passionate holding her open-back area of blouse. The hug is so close and tight that air couldn't pass through between Big B and Tabu. That's all one aspect.
Apart from this when Tabu was called on to the stage, she was walking fast passing Nag and Amala who were sitting in first row, without noticing. Nag grabbed her hand literally and Amala smiled happily looking at his hubby's mischief with Tabu. Tabu overwhelmed with pleasant surprise as Nag grabbed her.
On the other hand Sangeetha went to Abbas and hugged him with passion. Ali spent his time with Kamna Jethmalani. Entire event has gone with tight passionate hugs and ….! Good show indeed.

Accepting the ‘Legend Award’ from superstar Amitabh Bachchan at the 54th Fair One Filmfare Awards-2006 function at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre here on Saturday, an overwhelmed Chiranjeevi said, “We have derived inspiration from Amitabh Bachchan. I am just a student before him, who is like a headmaster”.

P Susheela (singer) and U V Krishnam Raju (actor) were presented the lifetime achievement awards at the show. Giving the final touch to the show, the last award, Best Actor in Malayalam to Mammootty, was given by the Abhi-Ash couple who walked hand in hand as the crowd roared. Among the stars who missed the show were Mahesh Babu (Telugu/Best Actor) and Ajit (Tamil/Best Actor). Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata received the award on his behalf. Stars including Meenakshi, Vineeth, Devi Sri Prasad, Mamtha Mohandas, Neetu Chandra, Simran, Kamna Jethmalani, Meenakshi, and Kaniha pepped up the show with their performances.

The highlight being the spectacular performance by music director Devi Sri Prasad. He worked the crowds with his ‘Good Morning’ number from the latest film ‘Shankardada Zindabad’. The crowd swayed to his numbers and demanded more. And he did not disappoint them, churning out number after number for 10 minutes. The show was choreographed by Deepak.

Big B bails out of land mess, 'donates' farmland

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is no longer a farmer. According to a leading daily he has "donated" the land in Daulatpur to the gramsabha.

On July 12 he wrote to the gram panchayat of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, and thereafter he also wrote to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati informing her of his decision.

Bachchan has also surrendered his farmlands in Pune. The divisional commissioner of Pune was on Wednesday told to 'donate' the land owned by the Big B and his son, Abhishek Bachchan.

However, the Divisional Commissioner of Pune, Nitin Karir, told CNN-IBN that they have not received any letter from the superstar saying he would like to donate his land.

The actor had received the state-owned farmland from the previous UP government headed by Mulayam Singh Yadav. Bachchan had then allegedly used forged documents - approved by the then UP government - that certified him as a farmer to buy over 20 acres of agricultural land in Pune district.

In 2000, Bachchan had purchased a plot of land in Lonavala near Pune. As per Section 63 of the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act 1948, no person can purchase agricultural land in Maharashtra if he is not a farmer.

Bachchan had used the UP land allotment as a testimonial to establish his credentials as a farmer for this deal and had submitted the documents in March 2006.

In the same month, the Pune District Collector had written to the Barabanki District Magistrate for the authentication of Bachchan's testimonial.

The decision to relinquish the land in Pale village, near the scenic Pawna site, came after he did away with the root of all controversies - the three plots measuring around 4.5 bigha of agricultural land in village Daulatpur in Barabanki which gave him the status of a 'farmer', legally enabling him to buy land in Pawna.
