Athidhi through Suresh Productions

As for the unconfirmed sources, UTV has bagged the theatre rights of Athidhi for Rs18.5 crores. It is heard that the UTV is planning to release the film through Suresh Productions. The film is likely to release on 27th of September.

The communists parties state Bandh has dent on the collections of the SDZ . Megastar films usually collects good amounts in the first week with good openings. But the Bandh last two shows of today and this will dent the collections of the film.

Vijayawada: With the much-awaited ‘Sankardada Zindabad’ having released here on Friday to huge fan frenzy, speculation over megastar Chiranjeevi’s political ‘arangetram’ is back in focus. And if people thrive on such speculations, will our netas be far behind?
It was no surprise that the hot-bed of the caste politics in the state —Vijayawada—was packed with flex banners and posters of Chiru to coincide with the film’s release.
But what raised eyebrows was the unflinching zeal of the followers of Devineni Nehru’s son Avinash to put up banners and posters of Chiru all over the city.
Senior Congress legislator, Nehru, is a known representative of Kammas in the district, while Chiru belongs to the Kapu community.
In fact, it was caste politics which sowed the seeds of a feud between Nehru and late MLA Vangaveeti Ranga about a decade ago.
While Nehru represents the powerful Kammas, Ranga was the vanguard for Kapus in the region. Vijayawada city, for long, faced the brunt of the caste wars between these two strong communities. While a majority of the Kammas support the Telugu Desam Party, their rivals plunged into politics by joining the Congress. After the split in the Telugu Desam Party in 1995, Nehru joined the Congress and presently represents Kankipadu constituency.
Meanwhile, Ranga’s son Radha too got elected as an MLA from Vijayawada east constituency. Both these arch rivals have now joined hands in the party to take on the local MP Rajagopal.

Monica to do 'Lady Amitabh' on reel

HYDERABAD: A free, 'stronger and confident' Monica Bedi is coveting the 'Lady Amitabh' tag which once belonged to actress Vijayashanti.
Like Vijayashanti, Monica wants to play the tough police officer — bash up goons and pack off criminals to the prison.
"She's played a police officer in films before and has encountered police in real life. Since Vijayashanti's slot in films is vacant after she strayed into politics, Monica wants that position," sources close to her said.
Monica was learnt to have already got four film offers from the Telugu film industry which were routed to her through her family. She is yet to make up her mind and will soon be back in Hyderabad to finalise on some of the films.
But first, the former starlet who spent one year and eight months in the jail here wants to experience her newfound freedom in all its fullness.
At 7.30 am on Wednesday, Monica was released from the State Prison for Women at Chanchalguda on bail. Speaking first to The Times of India, she said she badly missed her family and wanted to spend a lot of time with them.
Asked what freedom meant to her, Monica was at a loss for words. She simply took a deep breath and laughed from her belly to convey how free she felt. "I prayed in my prison cell and God answered my prayers. I am excited being free," she said.
In an interaction with the media before she took a flight to Delhi en route to Punjab, along with her father Prem Kumar Bedi and uncle Purushottam Bedi, the former actress said from the experiences she has had, she would now no longer trust everyone. "I have to be careful in life now," she said.
Marriage is also not on her mind right now. "I'm just out of jail. Give me a break. Don't get me married so soon. I have to achieve a lot," she replied in response to a question as her father Prem Kumar Bedi nodded in approval.
Though Monica said she had no hard feelings against anyone, her 'vote of thanks' revealed she was not happy with the conviction she got at the CBI court.
She mentioned that she had got justice at the Bhopal court which acquitted her in a fake passport case, the AP High court reduced her five-year sentence to three years and the Supreme court has granted her bail.

Megastar fan who was in hurry to watch SDZ film on the first day of its release was died in stampede that took at the ticket booking counter in Archana theatre Nellore.This is not first time a fan dying in stampede, it happened for Stalin, Athadu of Mahesh Babu.

Chiru's political talk in SDZ

No one know Megastar intention towards politics. But it appears in his films every time from Indra to Tagore and now in SDZ. There is a dialogue about Megastar's political entry in the SDZ.

Simran's sari malfunctions...

Ever since the internet happened, just about everybody is extremely cautious about what is being recorded on camera. During her previous run, Simran didn't find herself in any “candid camera” controversies. That is one of the reasons why she is more than just cautious this time.
The following incident happened when she was working in an ad film for a masala brand. She was wearing a cotton sari for the shoot. The sari had crept up to the middle of her calf when she was shooting. As soon as she found out, she stopped shooting and insisted on seeing the clip.
She had the clip removed and saw to it that it was destroyed. Only then did she start shooting

Jagadeka veeruniki- good response from the audiences.

The song 'jagadeka veeruni ki' is high light in SDZ. The dance by Megastar, Srikanth, Nagbabu, Allu Arjun and Raviteja received good applause from mega fans in the theatre. The choreographer must ne appreciated for his excellent job in this song.

Shankar’s official announcement on Robot

Shankar is all set for his dream venture, supposedly his tour de force, entitled Robot, a gripping science fiction thriller with none other than the King Khan of Hindi films in the lead role. Shah Rukh who had watched Sivaji was reportedly very impressed with the film and has agreed to not only feature in Shankar’s next project but has also agreed to produce it under his Red Chilies Entertainment. The movie will be the second Hindi film for Shankar whose earlier Nayak, a remake of Tamil blockbuster Mudalvan had made people sit up and take notice of him.
Robot with all its latest techno wizardry will be released in Tamil ,Telugu and other languages. The crew details are yet to be finalized. This is an official statement from the Shankar camp itself. So viewers, gear up for Robot.

Prem Rakshitha is the new choreographer who is doing two songs for Yamadonga of NTR. He is composing the steps for Nachore Nachore... and Yavadee Ghajadonga.... in NTR's Yamadonga . The promos of these songs are already on TV screens. NTR is looking different in those steps after Simhadri.

Opposition to Shriya's film in Pakistan

They have bus services and train services and conduct international talks and wave the peace flag. But Indian cinema is not allowed to be screened in theaters in Pakistan. Now and then a film is screened with special permission, but this is not taken into account!
But Indian film DVDS are sold there illegally. Indian film audio sales are very good in Pakistan. It is usual for Madrasas there to preach to kids that seeing films and hearing music are Satanic pursuits and armed with lathis, the errant shop owners are warned in a 'friendly' threat.
The Hindi film 'Aavaaraapan' was running well in Pakistan. It stars Imraan Hasmi and Shriya, who depended heavily on this film to step into Bollywood. This film was not produced by an Indian company, so there was no problem to releasing it there.
But the fact is that 'Aavaaraapan' is a Hindi film and conservatives as well as Pakistani producers demanded that the film should not be screened. In fact, Pakistan producers have filed a case for a stay order on the film being screened in Pakistan.
So, Shriya's film could soon be chased back to Indian boundaries!

Will SDZ beat Pokiri?

Mahesh Babu and Poori Jagannath made the magic to put Pokiri on top of the Tollywood by breaking all earlier records. It was heard that the film had collected Rs 40 crores. The film is still running in Bagheeratha theatre in Karnool and completed 400 days.
SDZ is releasing with 350 prints and 550+ tomorrow. If SDZ is to beat Pokiri, the film should maintain the same momentum for 7 weeks. The film is expected to collect Rs 20 crores in the first week.

Pawan not to attend Open Court?

Pawan's lawyer Rammurty has disclosed that Pawan Kalyan is suppose to attend the Family court on 31st July. He says ' Pawan isn't showing interest to attend open court, as he might face problems with his fans' .The Lawyer said that the enquiry may go on in camera court.
On the other hand, Nandini didn't come out to speak with media and her lawyer says that she is not well.
Police says that they couldn't get the complete evidence in this case so far. And police is likely to go to Shirdi to find out the facts.
