Mohan Babu: 'Vishnu Learned Fights At Jackie Chan'

Mohan Babu says that Jackie Chan taught stunts for his sons Vishnu and Manoj. He said, "Vishnu likes to fight on screen. He loves action episodes. He is now acting with lot of interest in this new film. He learnt some action sequences at Jackie Chan. Even Manoj learnt at him when he came to India. Vishnu is now jumping from 100 feet height without dupe. So we brought imported air beds for these sequences".

P Vasu is directing the film and right now the shooting is going on in Tirupathi. Stun Shiva is composing action scenes.

Mamata Mohandas is pairing up with Vishnu in this film. Nagarjuna is playing a vital role in this film and the title is yet to be decided.

Reel Talk: Mohan Babu Acts In Telugu ‘Sarkar’

Sorry! We are not saying that RGV’s ‘Sarkar’ is going to be made in Telugu. It is a separate film on a whole. The film is going to be made with Mohan Babu in lead role. The Rayalaseema faction theme and Mohan Babu’s ersatz rule in one of the places falls the main theme of the film. The details of the film are yet to be known and Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy, the producer of ‘Dhee’ is going to make this film.

Already Mohan Babu acted in ‘Rayalaseema Ramanna Choudary’. Although the word Rayalaseema is there in that, it was a film based on family issues and land settlements and there was no faction in that. Now we have to see what faction Mohan Babu is going to show.

Grapevine says that producer is trying to pull Sobhana for the female role in it on the interest of Mohan Babu. So, are we going to see ‘Rowdy gari Pellam’ pair once again?

A Senior Producer About Mohan Babu Politics

Is Mohan Babu sympathizing Congress? He worked for TDP earlier-right? The incident that took place in Vizag gave an impression that Mohan Babu is drifting towards Congress. TSR awards ceremony had took place in Vizag where the President of Youth Congress TJY Sudhakar Babu said that YSR felt bad for prohibiting two awards those have to be given on the hands of him during Platinum Jubilee function.

Mohan Babu intruded immediately and said that YSR has been his friend from many years and that is not the dais to discuss politics. Mohan Babu was found very anger on TJY Sudhakar Babu for taking the name of YSR. The real politics behind this are also not known for people.

Mohan Babu is very intelligent and he wants to prove that he is superior to all in the matters of relationship building and 'one top-star' is nothing before him. With the relation I have with him, I know he will definitely becomes successful if enters into active politics".

Andhra Talk: What Mohan Babu Said Is Right!

Just look at what Mohan Babu said freshly in a TV interview before discussing what people commented on that.

NTR Played 'Brihannala', a eunuch, in Dana Veera Soora Karna. He played many villain roles- say Duryodhana and Ravana. Which star can dare to do that role in present generation? There is none. An actor is called an actor only when he portrays all sorts of roles. I'm ready even now to play any sort of role.
I speak straight without keeping anything in head. I keep my mind cool all the while and that is the secret of my glamour.
I acted in 510 films so far in which there were many silver jubilee films. I need not name them. People know them well. I never got Nandi award at any time. Had I tried I would have got. My sons have a minus point and that is being my children. Had they come from a non-filmy background, with the acting prowess they showed so far, they would have become notable actors. But being my children, people compare them with me in dialogue delivery, action and body language. They have to overcome this and come out colorfully.

CB Raju, a retired bank employee says, "What Mohan Babu said regarding Nandi awards might be true. He would have got best actor award for the films like 'Pedarayudu' and 'Rayalaseema Ramanna Choudary'. There are many films to name to pick him up for best villain award as well. His performance in 'M Dharma Raju MA' was marvelous. Government should give a thought for public voting through SMS for Nandi awards as well. Only then the true winner can be announced. The chance to manage the jury members will be meager then".

Another viewer Aruna says, "I liked Mohan Babu's point in underlining who can act the role of Brihannala now. Really we cannot imagine anyone. Today, the importance is given only for artificial stardom but not the true talent".

"Big heroes say that their fans don't agree if they portray negative or low profile roles that extract their talent. But the real star should impress his fans by all means. Fans don't agree only when they can't see their hero doing certain roles. But the same fans watched NTR hen he portrayed villain (mythological films), handicapped (Panduranga Mahatyam) and even as eunuch (Dana Veera Soora Karna). He was real star. Same applies to Kamal Hasan", says Radhakrishna Murthy, a retired teacher.

Coming to his statement regarding his sons, a viewer Ganesh said, "I don't agree with Mohan Babu in this subject. Vishnu and Manoj need to groom up a lot. They are surviving only because of Mohan Babu's background. Had they come from any non-filmy background people would have shunned long back! Producer Mohan Babu is having a gala time. He, with his family, is vacationing in Las Vegas. And recently his daughter Lakshmi Prasanna celebrated her first wedding anniversary with hubby Andy, her family including her brothers Vishnu and Manoj, and her colleagues from Hollywood circles and other acquaintances at an Indian cuisine restaurant in Los Angeles.

Apparently, Mohan Babu looked as happy as a clam when Lakshmi proclaimed that she owes all her success to her wonderful dad. The producer is set to return to Hyderabad next week for Yamadonga's release.

Mohanbabu has been in long romance with films which saw him trying his hand at a wide variety of roles in films. He is the most successful producer in the past. He always played safe by remaking hit movies from other languages. But unfortunately his success mantra is not working with his sons. All of his home productions with his dudes are dumb. But he still believes in the remake trick. He is all set to remake 'Bunty Aur Bubbly' and Jim Cary's 'Bruce Almighty'. The latest news is that we are going to see the father-sons combo pack in remake of Hindi film "APNE".

"MohanBabu had been planning, for quite a long time, to make a film with all of them together but could not find the right script." In fact, a couple of story ideas were sacked at the scripting stage itself after he felt that they would not do justice to their status as actors. Then, he came upon the Hindi movie 'Apne' which seemed just the perfect film for all of them to come together," say one of the writers close to the actor.
'Apne' is the story of a disgraced boxer (Mohanbabu) who wants to get back his honor by making his elder son (Vishnu) a boxer of international repute. However, ultimately it is the younger son (Manoj) who steps in to fulfill his father's dream when the elder one refuses to become a boxer. The film has got good reviews in Hindi because of Dharmendra's charisma. But shall we say Awesome for this three-some in Tollywood.

Well, above all the celebrations and eventful evening, many are expecting some hot and spicy statements from Mohan Babu those may sound like retorts on a Big hero. Even a few days back, stating about the success of 'Dhee' he said, "This is the truthful victory that ran for 100 days. Our family never tries to over boast by making the films run forcibly for 100 days. Others may do that".

This is an ironical way of his conveying something. So, there would be continuation for this statement, say many. Let us wait and see if Mohan Babu uses this dais as well for his personal feelings.

Mohan Babu is known for his biting sarcasm in comments. He doesn't spare even his seniors.

He happened to meet the veteran directors Raghavendra Rao and Dasari together in one function. Director Rajamouli was found along with them.

Mohan Babu drew comparison between Rajamouli and Raghavendra Rao.

He said the two had a vice in common. 'They use and throw people'.

He didn't spare Dasari, who had been his mentor. "Dasari could ditch his loyalists for the sake of power and recognition", he said. Both the senior directors kept mum for his remarks and didn't shoot him back.

Mohan Babu is speaking in indirect fashion these days. He is letting out his feelings ironically in several incidents. A few days back during the audio launch of Yama Donga he said a dialogue from the same film and implied that he is saying that by keeping a person in his mind. The dialogue is " Nyayaaniki Anyaayaniki, Dharmaniki Adharmaniki Madhya sangharshana jaruguthunnappudu goda meeda pillila vunde vaadini sala sala kaage nunelo veyisthaaru ee narakamlo.."
That's one aspect which smells fishy and leads to pseudo assumptions of many about that 'person' in Mohan Babu's mind.
Freshly he said another thing that appears to have said by keeping a person in his mind, again. He said, "My son Vishnu's 'Dhee' ran for 100 days genuinely. Even my films run only genuinely. We never try to push it for 100 days although people are not watching, like others. Right now Dhee is running beyond 100 in about 40 theatres".

Mohan Babu Trapped Entire Electronic Media

Mohan Babu has his own way of keeping entire electronic media in his proximity. He invited all the heads of different television channels and FM radios for the launching of '24 Frames Factory', for which Vishnu Vardhan Manchu is the CEO.
Right from TV9 Ravi Prakash, MAA TV Sarath Marar, ETV Bapi Needu to the heads of SFM, Big FM and all have come for the launching of the same. 24 Frames provides the video content pertaining to films to TV channels and also entering into IP TV. There will be daily correspondence between 24 Frames Factory and electronic media channels if the contract is signed with them for taking the exclusive video content from them.
In the function, it is observed that TV9 Ravi Prakash moved very close with Mohan Babu and both appeared like thick friends for many. It is really a good idea to keep entire electronic media in intact.
Apart from this '24 Frame Factory', Vishnu Vardhan Babu is also heading 'Think Smart', the animation studio.

24 Frames Factory Launch

alk: Who's Mohan Babu's Real Enemy?

Recall the famous scene in old 'Mayabazar'. When Lord Krishna presents Sasirekha with 'Priyadarsini', she opens that and finds Arjuna in that. As she loves him he will be seen there. Similarly Sasirekha's mother finds gold jewelry, Balarama finds Duryodhana (his friend). But when Lord Krishna looks into that, he finds Sakuni out of surprise. So the truth is that Lord Krishna's enemy is Sakuni but he pretends to like him.

This can be correlated to Mohan Babu now. It is difficult to find who is his enemy basing on his dialogue on stage.

On the dais of audio release of Yamadonga, Mohan Babu said, "Nyayam anyayam, dharmam adharmam madhya goda meedha pillalaa bathike vadini narakamlo sala sala kaage noonelo veyisthaaru. This is my dialogue in yamadonga. I'm saying this intentionally, now keeping a person in my mind".

Who is that person? Is that Chiranjeevi or KS Rama Rao or Dasari?

What Chiranjeevi did in support of that dialogue? He was never 'goda meedha pilli' in any incident. Coming to KS Rama Rao, he disturbed Mohan Babu during the Platinum Jubilee when marking between two titles 'Legend' and 'Celebrity'. He even called KS with the term 'Silly Fellow' that has become big news. But in fact, later, Mohan Babu felicitated KS Rama Rao in a separate event to wash out the opinions.

But there may be another fact which may not be known for none but only to Mohan Babu. It is only an assumption any way. He must be saying that dialogue putting his real Guru Dasari in mind. Dasari played big double game in Platinum Jubilee function. He ignited Mohan Babu to speak against Chiranjeevi and when the turbulence took place he spoke on the dais giving an impression that he was balancing the situation.
