Buzz: Actress's Bathroom CDs In Koti Market

The image “http://www.greatandhra.com/newsimages/monicabedi1188882300.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

It is said that Monica Bedi was shot in video while taking bath in the prison. A few national news channels have show those bits and traces of that video as well. Since that's abused by many, the channels have stopped rolling them.

But there is fresh information in air that the CDs are now being sold out illegally by the road side CD vendors in Koti Market. It was also said that they were made prints and being sold out in gray market. But when greatandhra.com bureau made an attempt to investigate on this, the CDs weren't found any where.

The CDs were sold in similar way when a few alleged news bits were out earlier that a heroine was shot while bathing in her hotel room etc. Anyway, there should be thorough check on this and the moral policing should be maintained. Only sudden checking by police in civil dress would curb those acts.

Monica Bedi claims politicians met her in jail

Bollywood starlet Monica Bedi claimed that '' a few politicians'' had approached her during her stay at Chanchalguda prison in Hyderabad.

'' I was asked by them to join their respective political parties,'' she said while relaxing at her ancestrol house in here.

''I have no intention to join politics. None of my family members have ever been in politics,'' the companion of underworld don Abu Salem who was released from prison on Wednesday last said to a group of mediapersons.

She however refused to disclose the names of the politicians or political parties who had approached her during her detention.

She reiterated that she was very keen to return to Bollywood to restart her film career. '' This is my future,'' she said while out rightly refusing to discuss her relationship with Salem.

Monica claimed that she had already received offer for key roles in four Hindi, six Telugu and two Punjabi films. ''Negotiations with producers are in progress,'' she said indicating that she would first go through the scripts and then decide.

When asked about her favourite hero and heroine, she said that almost all the new comers were performing well. ''But Rekha, Sri Devi and Madhuri Dixit are my favourite heroines and Dalip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan are the heroes I like,'' she added.

Monica indicated that she would like to act with Amitabh Bachchan if a suitable role was offered. To maintain her figure, the Bollywood starlit was regularly doing Yoga.

She emphasised the need for granting interim bail to all those innocent women who had been languishing in prison for a long period on account of their cases pending in the courts. She would make efforts to get them released on interim bails by approaching the concerned authorities in this regard.

Monica and her father Prem Kumar Bedi who was also present, strongly criticised the media for concocted stories being telecast about her marriage with Salem.

Monica indicated that during her stay here, she would be visiting important gurdwaras in the state and would also pay obeisance at the shrine in Chintpurni in Himachal Pradesh. She plans to stay here for a month and a half and then move to Mumbai, if the courts permit.

She was extremely thankful to the inhabitants of her native village for extending all type of cooperation to her and for their blessings.

Spotlight: Monica Bedi turns spiritual!

The world knows her as don Abu Salem's girlfriend, but Monica Bedi refuses to even discuss him. Instead, Monica talks about the spiritual path she intends to take.
At 32, Monica Bedi has seen much more than people twice her age, yet there's a strange kind of serenity in her voice as she awaits her release from jail in the fake passport case. The girl from Norway, who started as a B-grade starlet and then became (in)famous as don Abu Salem's girlfriend has her eyes set on the path ahead.
Having seen more downs than ups in life, Monica is today seeking solace in spirituality . And when you ask her about her future plan, she says, "I will try and seek life's answers in spirituality. That's the only way to live and has sustained me till now."
The mere mention of Abu Salem makes her clam up. The only people she is ready to talk about are her parents. "I am waiting to go out and spend time with my family. I have really missed them all these months," she says.
What about films? Are they on her agenda, especially with so many film producers claiming to show interest in her as an actor? "Right now I have not decided anything. I will take each day as it comes; planning doesn't lead you anywhere ," she says. Ask her about her experiences in jail and she says stoically , "It's been tough but I had my faith in the Lord and my innocence."
