Ram Charan Is Very Balanced With Media

The image “http://www.greatandhra.com/newsimages/chirutha31191201403.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Ram Charan seems to be very balanced with media while talking. Even that happens to be a part of training given to him. He is very humble and just giving answer to the point. Frequently he repeats the lines 'You have to encourage me. It's my first attempt".

He said the same thing again and again in a brief talk to a media channel. He is giving the signals of humble nature like his father. He is very much calculated as well. But at times, he is also showing a bit of carelessness like his uncle Pawan Kalyan. But that is very well within limits but not odd. Many say that he has resemblances with Pawan Kalyan in body language.

Keeping that aside, do you know one thing? Ram Charan's mother used to shout at his indiscipline saying, "You are becoming like your baabai. Correct yourself". So, it's not just on screen and before media, but Ram Charan has many resemblances with Pawan Kalyan.

Opinion: Rating Of Ram Charan In 'Chirutha'

Chirutha is unique film in Tollywood history , where it does not matter if the movie is good or bad, hit or flop, has story or not.. It's all about Ram Charan.. With instant fan following and mega expectations, everybody has the one question in their mind.

"Does he have the stuff to be a successor of Megastar?"

It's a huge test for Ram Charan and let's check how he has done as an artiste in different departments..

Acting: The writer (also the director) has created scenes filled with love, sentiment, comedy, anger and Charan performed like a seasoned actor. Especially the scenes involving his mother came out very well. Though there are some rough edges to be sharpened, overall he did a fantastic job, considering it's his first movie.
Score: 6/10

Diction: Typically debutant heroes has some kind of rawness in their voices, but surprisingly Charan has done his homework well and uttered dialogues with right kind of pitch , intensity and timing. Puri's sharp one-liners definitely helped to mask any short comings.
Score: 6.5/10

Dance: As a successor to megastar, there are lot of expectations on Charan's dancing abilities and he definitely meets or exceeds all of them. He has natural grace in his body and it's a treat watching him dance.
Score: 8/10

Fights: His introduction scene is with a fight which stands out as one of the highlights of the movie. His facial expression during action sequences is good.
Score: 7/10

Appearance: He may not be most handsome hero in Tollywood , but has enough glamour to say he is good looking. He has toned his body well and possesses good screen presence.
Score: 5/10

Overall Score: 7/ 10

Ram Charan Teja - A worthy successor

big fm
When Chiru made his debut in 1978, he was already a seasoned actor, what with his film institute training and the valuable experience he gained on the stage. And of course, he wasn't launched with the fanfare his son Ram Charan Teja was with his very first movie. The expectations riding on this movie were high, with every Telugu movie fan keen to find out whether Charan would "score." That kind of a pressure can crack up anybody, but it's to Charan's credit that he makes a good impression in his debut movie without disappointing the Telugu audiences.

As far as looks go, one cannot help noticing his resemblance to his uncle Pawan Kalyan. Especially the eyes. Considerable effort seems to have gone in building some muscle and it's rumored that Chiru himself supervised his dance training. Of course, Charan had to be good at dancing. The Mega fans would expect no less. Added advantages are his body language and his voice. He carries himself okay in the few emotional scenes too. Chiru is a master at this kind of acting and comparisons will be inevitable. The senior is in a different league altogether.

Chiru chose a safe vehicle for his son, entrusting the responsibility to director Poori Jagannath, who in turn came up with a solid masala film. There are all the elements, the matinee crowds in Andhra Pradesh look for: fights, dances, comedy and pace. The first fight that happens in the jail is especially good and the first dance really rocks. Charan acquits himself well in the comedy scenes too, though he has a long way to go before he can reach his father's level. He can certainly improve his diction. With some effort and enough luck, we probably will see these raw edges getting smoothed in his future undertakings.

I watched the movie as usual among Chiru's hardcore fans in Fremont, California, who made sure the decibel level in the theater was high enough to make us all believe we might very well be watching the movie in India. I missed quite a few dialogues, but that's the price you pay for watching the movie on the first day of its release.

First movies, especially of the star-sons, are treated kindly by the Telugu audiences. The good will Chiru has among the Telugu movie-goers will certainly translate into a sizable success for this movie. This movie will be a hit, no doubt. What would be interesting is what happens next: how he would do in his subsequent movies.

What kind of movies would he choose? Will he try to establish a "mass" image like his dad or will he experiment more by mixing and matching his stuff? I for one, would love to see him work with directors like Sekhar Kammula, Chandrasekhar Eleti and Neelakantha.

The influence Chiranjeevi has on Telugu Film Industry is for everybody to see. His shadow looms large over Tollywood. Ram Charan Teja indeed has some big boots to fill. He is certainly a good actor. Will he also become a great one? Only the future will tell...

Puri's Expected Remuneration For Chirutha

The image “http://www.greatandhra.com/newsimages/puri1190044916.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Grapevine says Puri Jagannath's remuneration for the film 'Chirutha' is Rs 4 Crore, with 'conditions applied'. The first remuneration is Rs 2 Cr while the rest is assuring on the percentage of the profits collected on it.

Considering the total number of prints and the scope of the film, it is estimated that irrespective of the status of the film Puri would bag a sum of Rs 4 Crore on total. If the film gets positive feedback and turns out to be a big hit then the pay would go big for Puri.

The inside statistics and the percentages are not revealed indeed.

Hyd Reel Buzz : Chiru now turns his attention to Chirutha!

Chiranjeevi's Shankar Dada Zindabad had many surprise elements in it. As the movie progressed, star after star lined up to play cameo roles. First it was Devi Sree Prasd, then Prabhu flowed and then a host of actors from Pawan Kalyan to Ravi Teja, Allu Arjun and Naga Babu appeared in brief roes. The idea was to raise audience interest in the film. But the result at the box office shows otherwise.

Now, Chiranjeevi is said to be planning a similar strategy for son Ram Charan Tej's debut film Chirutha. While this is being kept a big secret, news from the sets reveals that Chiranjeevi is indeed doing a guest appearance in the movie. And he is most likely to shake legs with his son in a song.

Ram Charan was also named to be included in a guest role in Shankardada Z. However, it was later dropped as Chiranjeevi felt that by showing a yet to debut actor in a guest role, it would do more harm than good to Chirutha and Charan.

However, in Chiranjeevi's case, the story is entirely different. His presence in Chirutha will not only be a big morale booster for his son, but it will definitely boost the fate of the film as well.

Ram Charan Teja Acting Like Pawan Kalyan

This is the new grapevine that is making rounds. The inside sources say that the body language of Ram Charan Teja resembles Pawan Kalyan to large extent. It is a known fact that the influences will fall on any young actor in initial days. It is said that his dialogue delivery is unique where no resemblance can be drawn with anyone. It is said he underplays but sounds perfectly well with the depth of every scene.

The unit members of 'Chirutha' also shared that Ram Charan Teja's dances are marvelous of all and his ease in carrying himself is on par with any experienced actor.

Well, with all this, the expectations are naturally boosting up. Let us wait to see the true image of him in September.

Ram Charan Teja , Chirutha

Chirutha to release as per scheduled
Megastar Chiranjeevi's son Charan Teja will enthrall all of us in a few days. His maiden film "Chirutha" is all set to the screens very soon. The Chirutha team is back from the hectic and long schedule of Thailand and is presently relaxing in Hyderabad. Shooting will commence in Hyderabad again in a few days. Neha Sharma, a newcomer, is acting opposite Charan Teja.

The film will be released on September 22nd. Megastar Chiranjeevi is planning to make a grand function to introduce Charan Teja at the audio launch.

Ram Charan promises to live up to his father’s ideals
Ram Charan Teja is the son of megastar Chiranjeevi and he is all set to make his debut with Chirutha. The film is all set to hit the screen in September.
As the son of the most charismatic and loved actor in the state, Charan sure comes with a distinct advantage. But at the same time, he is also constantly reminded that he has the responsibility to safeguard the family name and reputation. He thus carries a big burden on his shoulders.
In these days where it is quite common to see children of successful parents going wayward and spoiling not only their future but also the name and prestige of their parents, Charan’s thoughts and statements comes as a welcome breath of fresh air.
Charan says that his dad is his idol and role model, not just in films but also in real life. Charan is determined to live up to the high standards set by his father, the one and only Chiranjeevi. And Charan will also carry forward all the good work initiated by dad, like the blood bank, eye bank and other charitable works.
Noble thoughts indeed and they are not surprising either; remember he has inherited the genes of not only his great father and his caring mother, but also the genes of his gentlemanly grandfather, the late Allu Ramalingaiah.
For a young man just into his twenties, he sure has a level head and clear thinking.

Hyd Gossip : 'Chirutha' Inspired From German Film!

Ram Charan Teja's 'Chirutha' is being made on the lines of a German film as per the sources. Now a few scenes are being re-shot for one reason. The film has come up really well, but Puri Jagannath discovered that a German Film is made on close terms of 'Chirutha' and watched that. He found a few action episodes and screenplay points most impressive. So he wanted to adopt those in this film and hence re-shooting a few scenes again.

So, 'Chirutha' is not a remake or remake of that German film but some scenes are being inspired from that. The title of that German film is not revealed by anyone.

This is the grapevine making rounds in Tollywood circles.

Gossip: Ram Charan Teja's Shocking Question

Ram Charan Teja is not only the son of a top star. He is not only a handsome guy but also shrewd and intelligent. A person who is known to Ram Charan called up on phone and talked him for sometime. In his talk he asked Charan to be careful while doing friendship with people. He asked Charan, "Be careful! You will get many friends as your dad is mega star. You have to be intelligent enough to differentiate good and bad friends in two different categories".

Then immediately Charan asked the person, "In which category you fall?"

There is no answer from the other side.

Chiru Wants To See Ram Charan Like Rajni Kanth

This is the new impression that is making rounds in Film Nagar. It is said that Chiranjeevi wants to see his son Ram Charan Teja in both Tamil and Telugu.
He is planning to launch him on Tamil screen as well with the film in the direction of Lingusamy. So he wants to see him as star in both the languages like Rajni Kanth. That's really a good thing to do. But will Chiranjeevi's son will have a grand welcome in Tamil Nadu. Can Rajni fans see the son of Telugu hero rocking there? Need to wait and see.
Earlier it was said that Ram Charan Teja will be doing in the film 'Khaidi-2' a sequel to his father's 'Khaidi'. But no news about that right now.

Buzz: No Retakes For Ramcharan-Only 'Reshoots'!

It's true that Ramcharan, the destined successor of Chrianjeevi, is not consuming as many 'retakes' as other new heroes consume. But his performance is demanding 'reshoots'. The team of his film is going again all the way to Bangkok to re-shoot some important scenes. Every one is meddling with the production of the film.

It' all Puri's indecisive vacillation, say a few. Puri is Okaying the shot and packing up. But after watching the film that he canned so far, he is finding something is lacking. Hence he is going back again and shooting the scenes aiming at betterment. Why Puri is doing so? That's with the fear of launching Ram Charan, the Chiru's son, say many.

Will all these cooks spoil the broth?

Gossip: Ram Charan Teja Busy In Re-Shooting

The film 'Chirutha' is going for re-shoot in Thailand and that is the fresh talk in the industry. It is said that Puri Jagannath is not satisfied for a few scenes after coming back to Hyderabad and hence decided to re-shoot. Well, it's Puri himself who shot those scenes in first schedule. Then how he is not satisfied? Is he taking the path of Shankar who did the same with Rajni Kanth's 'Shivaji' for hype sake? Shankar also did the same at last saying that he is grooming a few scenes relating to climax.

But a gossip says that Puri is fascinated towards Thailand and hence he rescheduled the schedule from Hyderabad to Thailand and it is a regular shoot but not a re-shoot. Whatever be the truth the film is in the discussion of film lovers this way.
