Screen Talk: Rajamouli's Family Is Truly Artistic!

It's very rare to see a family in which each one is talented in each department.
SS Rajamouli is known as the successful and sensational director who can hold the pulse of audiences every time. He has seen no flop in his career till now. His father Vijayendra Prasad is a good writer who penned several stories. His uncle MM Keeravani is known for all as talented music director and singer. Keeravani's sister Sreelekha is in her brother's path. Keeravani's father Siva Shakthi Dutta is a great poet who got applauses from Jnanapeeth Awardee Vishwanatha Satyanarayana. Siva Shakthi Dutta's younger brother Late Kaasi was also a good singer and the great lover of literature. It's really a rare thing to see a cluster of talents in single family.
Now Rajamouli, the son of Vijayendra Prasad and NTR, the son of Harikrishna did the film 'Yamadonga'. In a couple of weeks both Vijayendra Prasad and Harikrishna are uniting to make a film as director and hero respectively. Vijayendra Prasad debuted as director with the film Sree Krishna 2006 last year.

Talk: "Rajamouli's Has Seen No Success At All"

This may sound meaningless to say that Rajamouli has seen no success so far. He is known for everyone as evergreen director with series of successes in his hand ever since he started his career. Well, that's all restricted only to AP. His films were never successful in USA. All the films in his direction toppled at US box office miserably. The main reason for that is excess of violence in his films and pakka mass formula through out. Family audiences cannot relish his movies if that is the blend.
But can we expect he is going to kick out that jinx and come sout with triumphant success with 'Yamadonga'?
Looking at the flip side, even NTR's films in USA were flops. Only 'Rakhi could do something better.
We have to see how Rajamouli's future will be decided with this film.

Spotlight: Puri For Rs 4 Cr, SS Rajamouli For Rs 3 Cr

It has been an accepted truth all over the Indian film industry that the behind the screen directors are on par with big stars on screen. The remunerations bagged by directors are tremendous and the producers are going to dogs by paying huge sums to producers in many cases. Directors are also going with non-compromising way believing the quote, 'make hay while sun shines'.

Sources say that Puri Jagannath is taking a remuneration of Rs 4 Cr from Ram Charan Teja's debut 'Chirutha'. His remuneration before 'Pokiri' was Rs 2 Cr. Next falls SS Rajamouli who hasn't seen failure in his career till now. He is bagging a remuneration of Rs 3 Cr. VV Vinayak and Lawerence are taking Rs 2 Crore to 2.5 Cr. Among the directors those are taking more than a Crore, we have Trivikram Srinivas, Surender Reddy, Prabhudeva and 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar. YVS Choudary is also bagging big but since he is making films on his own banner, the figure hasn't come out exactly. But as per reports he takes not less than Rs 2 Cr if works for outside banner.

Now the corporate companies have also entered into the film production investing huge sums. Ad Labs is on top and many others are in line. So the directors are now claiming huge remunerations without any second thought or hesitation. There are indeed many directors those are making nasty films and living poor. The talented directors are always getting big treasure as remuneration.

EVV Satyanarana says that director's need is rightly understood by industry now.

Many talented directors are giving their dates for a few banners much in advance and locking crores of rupees.

In the conclusion of this we can simply say 'Vidwaan Sarvatra Poojyathey', the talented will be always honored.
