Buzz: Simran Has Much to 'Show' Than To Perform!

Heroine Simran is putting no condition to accept roles in her second innings. Her heroes now range from top ranking Balakrishna to comical hero Krishna Bhagavan. Be it " Okka Magaadu' or 'John Appa Rao Forty Plus'- it makes no difference for her. She is prepared to pair any guy irrespective of his image or stature.

She is busy doing Item songs too. She has toed with big heroes right from Mega Star Chiranjeevi to upcoming hero Kalyan Ram. Why has Simran remained a shining star amidst the heroines younger to her age? She attributes the reason to her performance.

But many believe she is known for wearing tight fitting clothes revealing her voluptuous structure. This could be the right reason!

How Simran's Hot 2nd Innings Going On?

Simran has been the darling of many hearts through out her career. There were lakhs of fans for her in AP and Tamilnadu. After starting her second innings she booked for Balakrishna's 'Okka Magadu', Kalyan Ram's 'Vijayadasami', Krishna Bhagawan's 'John Appa Rao 40 Plus' and a Malayalam film 'Heart Beats'.

Out of all these, the film 'Heart Beats' was released and that didn't bring any break for her but the producers are at loss. The film is in news as Simran sued the producers for Rs 20 Cr for showing her as Aids patient without her knowledge.

Keeping that aside, Simran is appearing in an item song in Kalyan Ram's 'Vijayadasami' that is hitting the screen shortly in the direction of V Samudra.

And in Balakrishna's 'Okka Magadu' she is playing beside lead role in the flash back as per the reports. John Appa Rao 40 Plus is going to be an out and out comedy film with Krishna Bhagawan the first schedule of the shooting of which is started in Bangkok.

From the chirpy and chatty characters to stirring roles Simran has done it all. And at this stage of career, the lady misses the sugar-candy romances and running around trees. She is going to seen in more small budget films than all those big banners she has been associated with for years.
But she has her own point of view on this issue. "It is not about small budget or big budget movies anymore. It is my role that makes my film big or small for me.
That is the reason I love to do 'John Appa Rao 40 Plus' with comedian Krishna Bhagawan", she said.
Before all that, she is going to appear on screen with Balakrishna in 'Okka Magaadu'.
Hope some of her contemporaries who want to be on screen again could take a lesson from this.

Simran Says About 'John Appa Rao 40 Plus'

Simran says that her character in 'John Appa Rao 40 plus' is the one close to her heart. She said that she has been accepting the roles after a lot of introspection.

She said that although many offers had come to her way she is choosing only a few. She is now acting in the film 'Okka Magadu' and the next film that she signed is 'John Appa Rao 40 Plus'.

"My character in John Appa Rao 40 Plus is quite different from others. I never played such role and the film runs with my lead role. This comedy thriller would certainly be a successful venture", Simran added.

The shooting of the film is going on in Thailand and a few scenes were canned on Simran and Krishna Bhagawan there. Koochipudi Venkat is producing and directing this film.

Gossip: Simran To Play Heroine For Rs.10 Lakhs!

Heroine, Simran is keeping the same figure, even after delivering a child. Her dance item in 'Okka Magaadu' has received many an applause.

Now she is playing opposite to Comedian- turned hero in 'John Appa Rao Forty Plus'.

The makers of the film thought of booking Mandira Bedi but she quoted Rs. 40 Lakhs for the film. Simran was too considerate and charged only Rs. 10 lakhs.

The director feels that Krishna Bhagavan and Simran can make good couple.

Substitute to Simran:
Many say about substitute to Simran but I don't believe in that. Today, many heroines are acting really well. Asin and Nayantara are wonderful in their performances and same is the case with Trisha, Sandhya and all.
No Strength for 18 hours:
Earlier I used to work for 18 hours a day. But now the time is not cooperating with me due to my son. I have to look after him. Still, I act in films and if time and opportunity comes, I would act in TV serials as well. But my priority is films.
Glamour Show:
I never relied only on glamour show. Glamour+ Performance= Simran. I believed in that and keep believing as well.

Screen Buzz: Radhika Dropping Net On Simran!

Radhika, the renowned TV celebrity is now dropping a net on Simran to pull her into her TV serials. Radhika has been the Ekta Kapoor of South India who has been making serials on the banner RAADAAN.

Already Malavika is also getting calls from Radhika wherein the former is still in the dreams of getting heroine roles in films. Malavika got married but still no way getting compromised to retire from film industry.

It was announced initially that Mandira Bedi was playing along with Krishna Bhagwan in the film 'John Appa Rao 40 Plus' that is going to be made by Kuchipudi Venkat. But now Venkat said that Mandira's dates are not available and hence Simran is going to replace her.

But why Mandira shunned the offer? Is that due to lack of dates? Is she so busy as an actress to say, 'No dates available'. But many are saying that she felt it is below her standards to act along with a middle aged comedian in Tollywood. Mandira is now rocking ahead with bigger aims and shunned her traditional taboos as well.

Recently she posed with bikinis and appeared on Maxim magazine as well. Her aim is to be a sensation on Bollywood portraying special glamour and oomph in her own way.
