Actor Suman is debuting on Malayalam screen now. The portrayal of Suman in Sivaji must have helped him in grabbing the attention of several industries.

'Pazhassi Raja' is the most expensive film that is being made in Malayalam with Mammooty in title role. Suman is given a very prominent role in the film. The film is a historical one where the fights with swords and bows play vital role. Sarath Kumar, the Tamil actor, is also acting in the film in an important role. That way the film is going to be a mega budget flick.

Let us see if Suman will be enjoying another break with this film.

Suman Talks Philosophical About His Career

Suman was the most sought-out actor in earlier years, but after a long hibernation in prison, he started his second innings at slow pace. In his third innings he started playing divine roles and other prominent characters.
"Rajni Kanth and I acted in the Tamil film 'Thee' long back in which I beat him as he makes a mistake. But watch the scene after 25 years in Sivaji. Rajni beats me on the terrace of the college building in climax. That's the change in film industry. No one knows what happens in future. That is the magic of Cine field", said Suman with a philosophical smile.
He also said that it was after 25 years of gap that he made his presence on Tamil screen directly. His last Tamil film was 'Darling Darling'.
"Since I was playing divine roles in Telugu, initially I hesitated to play villain in Sivaji. But Shankar convinced me saying that the role will be decent and he did that", added Suman.
Suman says that he is open for any type of role if that sounds decent. But his budget is little big now followed by Sivaji.

Screen Buzz: Suman takes Rajini head on!

In 1981, Suman and Rajinikanth acted together in a movie called Thee, which means fire.

But it is now that Suman is creating waves, with his fiery performance in Sivaji where his character Adiseshan is pitted against Rajini's Sivaji.

"It was a real test for me. In this particular scene before I give him a Re 1 coin and ask him to become a coolie or a milkman or a bus conductor, the audience was boiling. And then when I ask him to go and beg, there was a big roar in the theatre," says Suman.

Suman has acted in nearly 300 films, most of them in Telugu. His beatific smile makes him one of the most sought-after actors in mythological movies.

Now Sivaji's success, he says, will mean he will take a break from playing God.

"I don't have any more Gods to play. I am an actor, I want to act. So the only thing is to play a negative character," says Suman.

Suman dominates many of the confrontation scenes with Rajini in Sivaji
