Gossip: Uday Kiran Considers Himself Cursed Hero!

The image “http://www.greatandhra.com/newsimages/udaykiran1187623846.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Uday Kiran still finds himself a cursed hero, though he has the films ‘Viyyalavaari Kayyalu’ and ‘Lakshmiputrudu’ on hand.

Though Mega Star Chiranjeevi is kind enough to pardon him for breaking the betrothal with his daughter causing serious damage to the formers reputation, the other members of Chiru’s family still hate him. Udaykiran is repeatedly praising Chiru in all the forums for clemency.

But Chiru’s family members are not at all willing to consider him an actor. ‘Had I committed wrong against them, I would take the deserving punishment for ten more of my successive births’, Uday confessed in Chiru’s close aides of late.

Open Letter to Uday Kiran

Hello Uday,

I can say that I'm a hardcore fan of you. Firstly, I would like to wish you a successful film career once again with the film "Viyyalavari kayyalu". I know that this film is very important to you and for the efforts that you and your team have put in will surely enjoy the fruit of it in the near future. I became a fan of you with the film "Manasantha Nuvve". That was your film that I saw first and then followed by Nuvvu Nenu I have seen all your movies. I've not missed even a single film of yours. The reason for liking your movies is firstly, they are very decent movies, secondly, I like almost all the music albums of your movies, thirdly, I like your dancing style, and lastly your commitment towards the roles you portray.

Most of the songs from your movies are very soothing and humming. Though you dance with simply steps, I like your style of dancing. You dance with ease, feel and grace. Anyone who watches you dance would like to dance along with you because your steps are very cool. The commitment you have shown in acting can been seen in every film you did. Your acting skills have been improved tremendously with each film and with the film "Abaddam" you have proved that you are a complete actor. Unfortunately the film could not reach many audiences. It's a sheer bad luck I can say. Though the script is different from that of others, the screenplay was outdated. Though I agree that Balachander sir is a legend and gave us many classic movies, he should have given the script to Radha Mohan. He would have made wonders with it. No doubt I'm a very big fan of Balachander sir too.

Nee Sneham is one more film that I've to talk about. You have excelled in each frame. Only drawback was Arthi Agarwal. She was not at all serious in her role in the second half where she has so much to perform. Had she taken it seriously the film's outcome would have been great.

From the film Nuvvu Nenu I started liking your dancing style. It's not heavy but still it's eye catching. One more thing that I've to tell is about your dress sense. In tollywood, I think after Nagarjuna, it's only you who is perfect in dressing. Now a days, it's hard to see an actor having everything in him like looks, dress sense, style, acting and dancing with expressions. And I think that you one of those actors who have all the above mentioned. Yes! No one can deny this.

Some of my favourite dances of yours are as follows:

1. Udhayinchina sooryuni adiga (Kalasukovalani) 2. Cheliya cheliya singaram (kalasukovalani) 3. Thala Thala mani (Kalasukovalani) 4. The dance done on the stage on college day (Nuvvu Nenu) 5. Cheppave Prema (Manasantha Nuvve) 6. Monalisa Monalisa (Sreeram) 7.Rango bhothi Eh rango bhothi (Sreeram) 8. Avunani Antavo (Holi) 9. Chintamani Siggu Padindhi (Holi) 10. Emo Avunemo Nijamemo (Nee Sneham) 11.Gummare Gummare Mudhu Gummare (NNNN) 12.Telugu Basha Teeya Dhanam (NNNN) 13.Paate Vinte Oope Oogaliraa (Aunnanna Kaadanna). 14.Hitler Pilla (Abaddam)

It's really good to know that you have learnt to live with highs and lows and that's a healthy thinking. Based on the knowledge that I've, I would suggest you to go for family entertainers instead of complete action movies. Why I'm saying this is because I read in one of your interviews that you are trying to come out of the image of lover boy. That's fine, but choose such scripts which are of family oriented with little action in it. This is my request only because in the process of gaining fans from rural areas you should not loose your present fans. Good films will fetch you more number of fans automatically.

Uday! There are hundreds of fans for you like me who are eagerly waiting to see you on silver screen again. All the best for the film "Viyyalavari Kayyalu" on behalf of all your hardcore fans.

Please reciprocate to this letter if you read it.

Yours Loving Sister,
Radhika.

Chitchat with Uday Kiran

Uday Kiran created sensation with three straight silver jubilee hits at the time of his debut. After having a bad run at box office later, Uday Kiran took a break from the Telugu film industry for a couple of years and coming back with Viyyala Vari Kayyalu film. His birthday is on 26 June and he enters 26 years on that day. Here are the excerpts -

Tell us about your latest film Viyyala Vari Kayyalu?
It is an important project for me as I am coming back to Telugu film industry after a 2-year gap. I stopped acting in films as monotony crept into my films and they started doing badly at box office. During that time I was chosen by K Bala Chandar for Poi (Abaddam in Telugu) film. Though it did not fare well at the box office, it was a great opportunity to work with a man of such stature. After that film I have been listening to stories for Telugu. Sridhar narrated two stories to me and I did not like them. The third story is of Viyyala Vari Kayyalu. Sridhar is very fond of the title as it was the title of an old film starring Krishna. It is a total film that is aimed at all segments of audiences. It is not a love story, but a lovely story. Srihari and Sayaji Shinde are playing characters of equal importance. If this film clicks, it will create a healthy trend for more people to make many more films of such genre.

Tell us about your character in Viyyala Vari Kayyalu?
I am doing the role of a hair stylist. I have deviated from my kind of lover-boy-next-door characters. It is a city based character.

How is it like working with senior actor like Srihari?
I was bit hesitant to interact with him on the sets. But he took initiative to make me feel comfortable. He is a selfless man and our combination in the film is going to be highlight.
Are you in for multistarrers?
Yes. I would love to act in multi-hero projects with my contemporaries.

Did you feel insecure during your 2-year gap?
Yes, there was a feeling of insecurity. I am still feeling vulnerable. People have liked my films for their quality and I did not want quantity to dominate quality. Hence I deliberately stayed away searching for right stories. I got immensely popular with my first three silver jubilee hits. I don’t want to create bad impression for the people who liked me by doing bad films.

I was happy for whatever I had gone through. It was a learning process and it made me a better human being. I got tremendous success at the age of 20 and faced failures at the age of 22. Now I am 25 and have a balanced and matured mind. I have gone through the process of falling. Now it is the time for rising.

If you look back at certain unfortunate incidents in your life, do you attribute it to luck or swayam krutaparadham?
I don’t want to attribute it to bad luck. It was a learning experience. I did not have experience, judgment and support while accepting certain projects. I find that my decision to take up the bad project was the reason for the position I am in now.
What about your marriage plans?
There is no pressure on me for marriage now. There is still time. I want to mature myself as human being before entering the wedlock.

Why are you staying away from media?
I am very open to media. But my PR skills are very bad. More over, I did not have any occasion to meet the press as I was not acting in Telugu films for the past two years.
Did you watch any films recently?
I watched Pokiri for five times in theater. I also loved Bommarillu film.

What are your future plans?
I want to do more films and take senior actors as inspiration. Chiranjeevi was at the peak when I was a kid and I grew up watching his films. He is also at the peak even today. I want to be like that. I want to mature as actor and be a long-standing star. I want to grow with the audiences.
What is your next project?
I am working for a film in Tamil now. I have a couple of projects on the anvil in Telugu. I will announce about them very soon.

Snippet: Uday Kiran Is Falling On Rice!

This is the information that Uday Kiran is going very poor in maintaining his body. He is eating excess of rice than before and developing nasty tummy.

In the shooting sets of 'Viyyalavari Kayyalu' it is noticed that despite being the hero Uday Kiran has no qualms for his figure. His appetite is strong and fills his stomach with rice and sambar calling to serve twice or thrice. It is good to have good appetite. But one should mould his habits according to profession.

Uday Kiran should learn out of his experience or he needs a tough counseling. Or at least the producers should hire a dietician and physical trainer to maintain his shape at least during shooting times.

Uday Kiran: 'I'm Still Watching Chiru's Films'

Uday Kiran is now acting in the film 'Viyyaalavari Kayyaalu'. He is pairing up with Neha Jhulka in the film which is being directed by E Sattibabu. Lagadapati Sridhar is producing the film.

He also shared a few things this way:

Viyyalavari Kayyaaalu:
"I'm ready to act in multi star films if there are no politics in canning the film. Right now I'm acting with Sri Hari garu. He is senior to me and has his own set of audiences. I too have my audiences. So our combination will be a right mixture, as per my notion. I'm ready to act with the heroes of my age group as well if there are no politics".

2 Years Gap:
"I have my own record of bagging three successive hits in the beginning of my career itself. My first 3 films are hits. But due to lack of judgment, lack of support and lack of experience my graph came down drastically. Now I learnt a lot. I spent long time in deciding which movie to do. I felt 'Viyyalavari Kayyaalu' will be right flick as it's the blend of all required things those attract all sets of people"

Time Pass:
"I watch films in leisure. I watched Pokiri for 5 times in theater and Bommarillu for 3 times. I also spend long time with my friends".

Chiranjeevi Films:
"I wish to be in industry for longer time like many senior artistes. I have been watching Chiranjeevi's films since my childhood. I wish to continue in industry for longer time like him".

Many Experiences in Short Span:
"I learnt many things in short time. I feel very happy for all that. Now I'm in the process of striding up the ladder".
