Gossip: Balaiah Proves Himself Good Listener!After the Producer and the Director cleared the script, it is the hero who gives his final verdict always. All the heroes are not alike in listening the story.
Of all, Balakrishna has proved to be the best listener. When he sits with the writer, he switches off his mobile and asks his personal staff not to disturb him, till the rendering of the story is over. As he is very expressive in listening, the writer takes lot of interest in narrating every detail of the script.
Nagarjuna, however, is too impatient to listen a story. He keeps on answering his calls, when he sits with the writer. Some times he passes sarcastic and irritating remarks on the writer to the delight of the caller on the other end.
Shriya: ‘Rajinikanth’s a child at heart’
Shriya Saran plays the leading lady opposite South’s biggest superstar Rajinikath in his much awaited multi-crore film ‘Sivaji’ — and she can’t stop gushing about it. For the 20-something actor, who is otherwise a well-known name in the Telegu film industry, ‘Sivaji’ is more than just another film — both professionally and personally. “My excitement knew no bounds when I realised I was to star opposite Rajinikant. Let’s face it, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I can say that today, a year after the film, I feel so much more enriched as an actor.”
Shriya offers an insight to the real Rajinikant. “He is seen as this demi-god, but you’d be surprised to know how humble he is. When we used to shoot, we wouldn’t even realise that he is on the sets. He would quietly sit on a char and read his script; in an industry where everyone is running after fame and more fame, Rajini-sir is an example of how some still remain unpretentious despite all the hype,” she says.
But was there a mental block for Shriya, given that there is a 40-year age gap between them? “It could have been tough for me, but he made me feel very comfortable. He is a child at heart. Anything I had a problem with, he would help me fix it,” she smiles. While ‘Sivaji’ is yet to be released, there is speculation that it may premiere at this years IIFA awards on June 7. “I just can’t wait for the release. I might even turn up at IIFA,” Shriya signs off.
Buzz: GHMC demolishes Ramoji arrogance
At last, there is someone in the Municipal Corporation who could take on mighty media baron Ramoji Rao and demolish his arrogance.
Thanks to the enormous powers given by the Y S Rajasekhar Reddy government, newly appointed Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation C V S K Sarma issued orders to demolish the compound wall of Eenadu compound at Somajiguda, which was the only structure untouched while widening the road between Punjagutta and Khairatabad. Hitherto, no official in the MCH could dare touch the compound wall and instead, the authorities only widened the road on the other side and relocated the road divider. If any official tried to make such an attempt, Eenadu used to write scandalous stories about that officer and malign him.
Now that YSR is taking Eenadu head on, the GHMC Commissioner could muster courage and demolish the compound wall, much to the chagrin of Ramoji Rao. This would definitely ease the traffic congestion on the busy Khairatabad-Somajiguda road, which the people are widely appreciating.
NTR Is Now Looking Awkward and Nasty
This is the impression that is making rounds. NTR Junior is now looking with a knot in funky style. Is he assuming to be a rock star? Amitabh Bachchan is seen that way in the film 'Cheeni Kum'. He too has been receiving mixed response for that knot-look. That's different case. Coming back to NTR, he reduced 28 kilos of weight and looking slim. He has grown up hair up to his neck and that is also ok. But he started making that hair a knot and giving a different look. Comments are being heard in big way about his new style. That sort of knot suits only for tall guys. But NTR is short and that is known for all.
We guess NTR listens to this and unknots his hair. It's for his image!
Gossip: Producer's Wife Kicked Out Her Hubby
This is the gossip that is making rounds in Film Nagar. A popular film producer whose name ends with 'Reddy' is kicked out by his wife. He is a close friend of another popular director who is known for making comedy and family oriented films.
The reason is the man kept a lady with him and spending time only with him. This disgusted his wife and hence she deserted him out of frustration.
The producer is not so young but performed the marriages of children as well. Get glued to this space to know more about the same
Hero Uday Kiran has become deadly reserved to the astonishment of many. Neha Julka is pairing him in lagadapati Sridhar’s film ‘Viyyala vaari Kayyalu’. He is taking little interest in involving her into conversation during the breaks of shooting on sets. He is always found alone engaging himself either in listening Radio or reading a book.
This behavior is unusual to him. He used to take lot of delight spending leisure time with heroines during his first innings.

Who's Original Creator Of 'Manga Thayaru Tiffin..'?
'Manga Thayaru Tiffin Center ' is the film that is going on to sets now. Sreenivasa Reddy of 'Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila' and 'Adirindayya Chandram' fame is making this film in the production of Paidi Babu. The title of the film is adopted from 'Attli Satti Babu' in which Abhinaya Sree runs Manga Thayaru Tiffin Center.
Originally, much prior to this, about 3 years back Tadi Balaram, the cartoonist and comedy actor made a mimicry album with this title, ' Manga Thayaru Tiffin Center'. The same has been making rounds and now being made as film. The film is being made on Likhit Arts banner. It is going to be a blend of comedy and soft eroticism.
Other details are yet to be announced.
Dr Rajasekhar Underwent Yoga Meditation Treatment
There was some saying that hero Rajasekhar was suffering from mental illness and hence carried to Chennai by his parents and wife Jeevita. Now the sources say that all that is true but he was recovered within 4 days after undergoing yoga and meditation under able guidance of experts. It was said that Rajasekhar was mentally disturbed and hence he behaved different to the astonishment of his servants and family members.
But after the treatment he was felicitated by a cultural organization and now he is pleasantly working on his proposed next films.
So, now Dr Rajasekhar is not a patient. He was cured.
Side Talk: Hindi Remake Of 'Anukokunda Oka Roju'
'Anokunda Oka Roju' is a biggest hit and Charmy got big star image with that. She got a big opportunity to prove her mettle as actress with that film. Now the same film is being remade into Hindi as 'Sunday'.
Kareena Kapoor is playing the lead role that was played by Charmy in Telugu.
Ajay Devgan plays Jagapathi Babu's role and Arshad Warsi plays the one played by Sashank.
Rohit Shetty is directing this film. We have to see how it works there.
Nagabhushanam's Grand Son Hitting Screen
All the children of Rakta Kanneeru Nagabhushanam weren't settled in right way. But his grandson Bhushan, (The name of his grand father) is hitting silver screen with his debut flick 'Ardham Chesukoruuu'. Ravi Mulakapalli is directing the film while LD Kinnera is producing it. The shooting of the film was started in Ramanaidu studios yesterday. Tejaswini is pairing up with him as female lead.
Earlier to this the grandsons of SV Ranga Rao and Rao Gopala Rao also made their attempts to hit the screen. But nothing got fulfilled. Even the grand daughter of Anjali Devi couldn't make her presence felt on silver screen, although announced about her debut.
Murali Mohan, Hema and Rajiv Kanakala are also acting in this film in other key roles.
Dil Raju: Audience encouraging Munna
Dil Raju, the producer of the Prabhas and Ileana starrer Munna said on Monday that the film was still running to packed houses. ‘‘This is the third week and people are coming again to watch it. They have liked the movie, specially the songs which has made my film a musical hit,’’ said Dil Raju.
‘‘Even though initially the film got contradictory reports, now I can claim it has been taken well and is going to be a super hit,’’ said director Vamsi at a media brief at Dil Raju’s office. Actor Sridhar who was also present there said all characters gelled well in the film.
‘‘When I got the offer from Dil Raju’s camp I had no second thoughts about accepting it because he always makes good films and this one is going to be no exception,’’ said Sridhar.
'Desamuduru-125' On Grand Scale With Rs 50 Lakhs
The 125 days function of Deasmuduru is going to be held in large scale in Hyderabad as stated by Danayya, the producer of the film. The film proved to be the biggest hit in 2007 so far. The thumping collections were made by this film with the patronage of youth and masses. The songs also proved to be hit in this film. Allu Arjun bagged biggest hit in his career this way along with Aarya. Hansika Motwani also turned the heads of all and became a notable actress with this film.
It is said that the celebrations are being planned at a whopping budget of Rs 50 lakhs. We have to see how far that works out.
Anil Ambani Adlabs Eyes On AP Audio Market
We all know that Adlabs bought 300 film theaters India wide. Now it is eyeing on audio companies of AP as well. We got the news that Adlabs approached Supreme, Aditya and Madhura Entertainments to tie up with one.
Adlabs intends to take big stake in one of these audio companies and looking into various ins and outs as well as business track record of the 3 companies. It is also looking into the future plans of respective audio companies.
So, if Adlabs zeroes on any one of these companies then there would be huge revolution in audio sector of Andhra Pradesh.
Film Talk: Hair Stylists Getting Big Demand Now
In the starting of Cinema industry, first the heroes started getting craze. People used to recognize NTR, ANR and all as stars and the rest are no so important for them. But during later 70s and early 80s, with the onset of Dasari Narayana Rao, the craze started for directors in Telugu film industry. Then with Dr Ramanaidu, the producers also got star image. Later the choreographers also got star image. Now dialogue writers like Trivikram Sreenivas are also getting star image. It's time now for Hair Stylists to get that recognition and image. Eve since 'Pokiri', the heroes are tending to hire one good hair stylist for their films. Each film would show case the hero in different hair style. NTR's har style for 'Yama Donga' is something different. Allu Arjun's style in 'Desa Mududru' was also different. Prabhas' hair style in 'Munna' was also new. Same is the case with Siddartha's 'Aata'.
Now Mahesh is given a new hair for 'Athidhi'.
Gajala is known as the heroine of Student No-1 who rocked beside NTR. But after that she has no big hit in her hat. Now she is saying that she wishes to do action oriented roles. He is also seen wearing saris now and then. She says that her wish is to satisfy some Telugu producers by giving them super hits.
Gajala is also willing to act in female oriented subjects. Are there any takers for her?

Gollapudi Maruthi Rao shared his childhood happenings and said where the seed was sown in his head to become a writer. He said, "I was born on 14th April 1939 in Vijayanagaram. Ours is a middle class family. My primary education was completed at CBM School in the same town. When I was about 10-12 years of age, I used to go to purana sravanam along with my mother. Meduri Appanna Sastry garu used to recite puranam. That program influenced me a lot and I used to write notes what I listened in that puranam. From then zeal to express something by my own was started".
Gollapudi has now penned good novels, travelogues and stories. He is also a renowned actor and that is known for all Telugus.
