Chiranjeevi Shouldn't Miss Bus, Sorry The Train!
Mega Star Chiranjeevi has great fan following in Andhra region and that is known for all. Adding to that he reserves Nizam rights of his films with him as the collections will be very strong. So he has great fan following in Telengana region too. If the things move on according to second SRC, there would be scope for materializing separate Telangana. That becomes a big chance for Chiru to make his hold in both the states!! For that he needs to come into alliance with KCR.
Now the assumptions are making rounds that Chiranjeevi would carry some interesting decisions along with KCR with respect to capturing Telangana region votes in coming elections. On the other hand he has to assemble his team to hit the mission with broader vision. As the elections are coming up in less than 15 months, it is high time for Chiranjeevi to make up his team and work accordingly. Otherwise he may miss the bus, sorry the train as said by Allu Aravind.
Let us see what happens.

'Yama Donga' Getting Dubbed Into Tamil?
Sourecs say that the film 'Yamadonga' that turned a hit in AP is going to release in Tamilnadu as well as per a gossip. But the Yama sentiment is in big way in Telugu but not in Tamilnadu. NTR is in fact familiar for Tamilians as his film 'Naa Alludu' was released with the title 'Madurai Maappila'. The film was in fact a flop there as well.
Adding to that the funniest part is that the film 'Takkari' is also going to be dubbed into Tamil as per inside sources. It is funny because it was copied from 'Tiruvalaiyadal Arambam', a hit Tamil flick. Nithin is also known for Tamilians with the film 'Kazhugu', a dubbed version of 'Sye'. Now he may be seen again with dubbed Takkari as per grapevine.
We have to see how this dubbings work at Tamil box offices.

Deepika favourite for lead role in 'Robot'
After a dream debut with Bollywood 'Badshaah' Shah Rukh Khan in 'Om Shanti Om', Deepika Padukone appears set to storm the south with a possible role opposite Tamil superstar Rajinikanth in the big-budget film "Robot".
Padukone's name is "on the top of the list of contenders for heroine" in the Rs 100-crore venture by director Shankar, sources in the film production unit here said.
Shankar, who directed last year's runaway hit "Sivaji - The Boss" also starring Rajinikanth, has already teamed up with the style icon and renowned music composer A R Rehman.
The 22-year-old model-turned-actress has received the Star Screen award for "most promising newcomer" and Stardust "Superstar of Tomorrow"" award.
Going by the mantra that actresses make a dent in Kollywood after starring opposite Rajinikanth or Kamal Hassan, the media began the buzz about Deepika acting in "Robot".
The speculation earlier was that Shah Rukh Khan would play the lead in the the film, to be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, before Shankar succeeded in getting the Tamil matinee idol to agree.

Nostalgic 'Happy Days' number one in Telugu cinema
Hyderabad (IANS) "Happy Days" continues to be the top film as it completes 100 days - an incredible feat for a film sans stars. The list of top films is pretty much the same as in the last fortnight.
The top five Telugu films are:
1. "Happy Days" - This film is cruising merrily at the box office. Made without any big stars, it has been able to hold its own in the face of star-studded movies like "Thulasi", "Athidhi" and "Don". Sekhar Kammula has spun a good yarn around college life. Simple, heart-warming and nostalgic "Happy Days" is a good trip down memory lane.
The seven new faces and Tamanna, who is the only one to have done movies before, have made their presence felt and are now on their way to getting a foothold in Telugu cinema. The movie has raked in a lot of moolah and ushered in Telugu film industry's corporatisation.
2. "Mantra" - The whodunit film starring Charmee and Sivaji is faring well as far as the revenues go. Although suspense thrillers and murder-mysteries are not common in Telugu films, "Mantra" and "Anasuya" have shown that this genre goes down well with the audience if the film is made well.
3. "Anasuya" - Bhumika Chawla steals the show in the title role in "Anasuya". Playing a TV journo, Bhumika displays good acting skills. She portrays the right kind of emotions in the film. Ravi Babu, who is also the director, is good as the villain. This 'edge-of-the-seat' 'noir'-like thriller directed by Ravi Babu has got critical acclaim (it's technically slick albeit a bit dark in terms of lighting) and is faring well.
4. "Don" - Nagarjuna's only release this year has been at the receiving end in terms of reviews. Reports on the film's performance are not too favourable but Nagarjuna's fans will surely keep it going. Raghava Lawrence wears many hats - as director, actor, choreographer and music composer. Perhaps this was a bit too much on the plate to do full justice. Generally, most star-studded films run for the first few weeks and perhaps the initial curiosity to see it will attract crowds. One has to see how long it runs.
5. "Thulasi" - It continues to be in the reckoning even after it crosses 50 days. Child star Atulith gives an endearing performance despite the large dose of violence. Venkatesh returns to action with the movie, which is filled with commercial elements. A stereotypical story with a lot of violence thrown in with a bit of romance, sentiments and enough songs and dances and a sizzling item number by Shriya seems to have found favour.
Nayantara is paired with Venkatesh and she dons some glamorous outfits in the first half of the movie. She has a fairly substantial role.

'Akash Ganga' closing in on 'Happy Days' on music charts
The top five Telugu songs are:
1. "Happy Days" - Film: "Happy Days" - This title song of has a nice symphonic feel. Mickey Meyer has scored a grand composition.
2. "Akash Ganga" - Film: "Vaana" - Karthik renders this tuneful song composed by Kamalakar. The Kannada touch is quite evident in the song as "Vaana" is the Telugu remake of Kannada film "Mungaru Male". It has a yesteryear feel in terms of melody.
3. "Maha Maha" - Film: "Mantra" - A typical Western techno number with an interesting beat, the song is sung by Madhumita and Noelsen.
4. "Intha Andanga Unnave" - Film: "Don" - Lawrence Raghavendra, who has directed, choreographed and acted in the film, wears the hat of a music director for the first time in "Don". A simple song sung by Harish Raghavendra extolling the beauty of the heroine, it's just an average composition.
5. "Nee Kallathoti" - Film: "Thulasi" - Sagar and Chitra croon this rather melodious number. Set to tune by Devisri Prasad, the song has a slow tempo and a slightly classical feel to it.

Mayawati's Gun Pointed Jayaprada Instead Of Chiru
Neither she nor the BSP requires the support of the film industry to sustain in Uttar Pradesh. The only film industry personality she is fully acquainted with is none other than Andhra Pradesh's Jayaprada. She is now the MP from Uttar Pradesh. But here too, the problem is that Jayaprada is from BSP's enemy Samajwadi Party.
Moreover, Mayawati has no stakes in Andhra Pradesh. Except for a brief political appearance now and then in Hyderabad, Mayawati has no interest in Andhra Pradesh. She came to Hyderabad for the public meeting only to keep her flocks together. She is fully aware that the BSP will never form a government at the Centre on the strength of votes it gets in Andhra Pradesh.
Political observers feel that Mayawati's statement was more directed against Jayaprada rather than Chiranjeevi. For, Jayaprada is a crowd-puller in Uttar Pradesh.

'Dasari Is A Venomous Snake'-Posani! Beware
"Dasari Narayana Rao is like a venomous snake. He is very dangerous. We don't know if Snake really holds 'paga' (wish to take vengeance) but Dasari will certainly take his 'paga' on the people who turn against him. He only looks out for right time. Dasari has been keeping ANR at bay from the past 15 years without talking to him as he talked against him in an occasion. Hence while giving ANR award for Shabana Azmi recently, Dasari called for another attractive meeting for journalists. Obviously media journalists went to Dasari's meeting and didn't cover ANR award function. Dasari's intentions go that way. Posani will certainly eat his cake for keeping a tiff with Dasari", said a film personality in Film Nagar last night.
Let us see if that really turns out to be true.
