Kalyan Ram is deeply worried now. Except his 'Athanokkadey', he hasn't seen hit till now in his career. His films 'Asadhyudu', Lakshmi Kalyanam' and 'Vijayadasami' have flopped at box office. On the other hand his cousin NTR is dashing in Tollywood.

Kalyan Ram is not happy with any of the directors other than Surender Reddy. Grapevine says that the combination is going to come up after 'Athanokkadey'. Rumor says that Kalyan Ram is unhappy with Samudra for making 'Vijayadasami' in out dated style that killed it on a whole.

Surender Reddy is now busy with 'Athidhi' aspects. We have to see if Surender Reddy works for Kalyan Ram immediately.

Kalyan Ram is going to become father in a few months. Now he is busy acting in the film 'Vijayadasami', a remake of Tamil hit 'Siva Kasi'. He paired up with Vedika in that film.

Speaking on the occasion V Samudra said, “I would like to thank AM Ratnam for giving the remake rights and MS for transferring the title. The story of the film revolves around Vijaya Dasari day on which certain incidents happen. Sai Kumar did the role of villain. Kalyan Ram never attempted this kind of subject so far. This is the first straight film of heroine Vedika. We shot a couple of songs in Austria and Germany. A guest heroine is going to act in a song of this film. Srikanth Deva composes music. I am sure that this film will become this year’s biggest hit. We will release the audio in the first week of August and movie on 6 September.”

Producer Ranga Rao said, “Each and every cast and crewmember is taking this film as a challenging task. There are all kinds of emotions in this film. I am confident that this film will appeal to all the centers.”

Actress Vedika said, “This is my first straight film in Telugu. I am feeling happy to do this rare kind of role. There is scope for dance and performance. There is comedy too. I am fond of doing dances. And I enjoyed performing dances in minus degree temperatures in Austria and Germany.”

Kalyan Ram’s Latest Film "Sai Sarvajit Movies"

Kalyan Ram’s latest film is the remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Sivakasi’. Samudra directs this film and Eedara Ranga Rao is producing it on Sai Sarvajit Movies banner. A street set has been constructed in Rama Naidu Cine Village, Nanak Ram Guda for this film. Hero introduction scene is being canned today and producer invited the press.

Paruchuri Gopala Krishna said, “Story of the film is about how a guy who came out of his family becomes close to his family again. It is a challenging role of Kalyan Ram. Our dialogues will thrill the audience in the last half an hour of the film.”

August 23 release - Samudra

Director Samudra said, “we shot three songs so far. Talkie part is starting today. Hero introduction scene is going to be highlight of the film. Producer spent 25 lakhs on this street set. 300 junior artists are acting in this scene. This film will be shot in a single continuous schedule. We are planning to release the film on 23 August.”

Hero Kalyan Ram said that he is acting in a sentiment oriented commercial film for the first time.

The unit of Kalyan Ram’s next project went to Europe (Austria and Germany) to shoot a couple of songs on Kalyan Ram and Vedika. Kalyan Ram changed his appearance in this film by donning long hair. V Samudra remakes this Telugu version of Tamil blockbuster Sivakasi. Eedara Ranga Rao is producing this film on Sai Sarvajit movies banner.
