Doc says "no" to Lokesh-Brahmani wedding!
While it appeared all is well that ends well with regard to marriage of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's son Lokesh with film actor N Balkrishna's daughter Brahmani, there came a warning from their family doctor against performing of the marriage.

The doctor has apparently told Naidu and Balakrishna that the marriage between the first cousins (referred to as Menarikam) is not advisable, as it would lead to severe health problems for their children in future and may even cause mental retardation. He pointed out that most of the cases of congenital heart diseases (Naidu has been fighting with the Y S Rajasekhar Reddy government demanding financial assistance for operation of such children) were because of such marriages within a close family. So, there is every possibility that the children of Lokesh and Brahmani might also suffer from such diseases, the doctor said.

This has made the two families to sit and have a rethinking of the alliance. However, since Lokesh is still adamant on marrying Brahmani, the marriage might go on. It remains to be seen what decision they would take with regard to children!

Heroine and Her Mother Running Behind 'Kallu Paka'

Heroine and mother ran for 'Thaati kallu' every morning during a shooting. This incident took place in later 70s and early 80s.

It was talked in those days that the heroine Madhavi had spent time for the shooting of a film in East Godavari district along with her mother. The season was summer and hence the daughter and mother used to depend on fresh 'taati kallu' to quench their thirst and make their bodies cool. That really worked well and at the end of the schedule the heroine and her mother looked fresher with bubbly cheeks and blown up look.

This was not a confirmed news but people talked about it in big way. Well, 'taati kallu' is good summer drink, as opined by many, if taken in right dose.
