TOLLYWOOD FILM NEWS 29-05-2007 ( LATEST )
According to sources close to NTR family, there is a broad understanding between Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu and Balakrishna on the latter's entry into politics, but Naidu asked him not to act in haste, because of various developments in the State political scene: such as growing Telangana sentiment, intensification of Leftists struggle, entry of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy into active politics and impact of Lok Satta. The political situation would get ripened in the next nine or 10 months and he could take a decision by that time.
"It would be ideal to pick up some emotional issue to catch the attraction of the people, so that it would have a greater impact on the electorate," Naidu is learnt to have told Balaiah. Indications are that the TD would intensify the "Telugu Atmagouravam" campaign in the coming months and Balakrishna would pick up the slogan to take a plunge into the politics before 2009 elections.
The moot question, however, is what role Balaiah is going to play in the Telugu Desam. Will he play a second fiddle to Naidu and if he does, whether his fans will accept the same? Well, Balakrishna is still keeping his cards close to his chest.

Women Falling Behind Cell Assuming Allari Naresh
The phone number of a unit member was given on that and then after the release of the film, the person started receiving calls from ladies and also a few male fans of Allari Naresh. Many assumed that the mobile number belongs to Naresh himself. Even the person is naughty that he bluffed the callers talking like Naresh with them.
At the end, everyone enjoyed it.
Purandareshwari feels isolated!
At a time when the media is giving too much coverage to the silver jubilee celebrations of Telugu Desam party and Mahanadu at Tirupati, Purandareshwari fired a powerful salvo at Chandrababu Naidu, questioning his moral right to use the name of her fathr and his father-in-law N T Rama Rao on the dais. She recalled every incident as to how Naidu ditched her father and how the latter disowned Naidu as his son-in-law.
Apparently, Purandareshwari feels isolated in the NTR family, which is rallying behind Chandrababu Naidu for the last few months. The family is not happy with Purandareshwari joining the Congress along with her husband. She was not invited to a family reunion meeting held at Balakrishna's house recently, nor was she informed of her about the alliance fixed between Balakrishna's daughter and Chandrababu Naidu's son. She reportedly spoke to Balakrishna and advised him against the alliance, but he ignored her. Thus, she is giving vent to her utter disregard for Chandrababu!
Gossip: Fight Between Kamalini and EVV!
But EVV says that Harish is a good actor and he has better acquaintance with him right from the days of 'Prema Khaidi'.
The issue is going to be settled in a day or two. EVV is ready to remove Kamalini from the cast but not prepared to shun Harish at any cost.
Now Thailand has become a big topic in Film Nagar. Whenever time permits people are leaving for Thailand. The directors also prefer Thailand as their favorite destination to shoot songs. The reason is obvious. Thailand is the best tourist destination where 'everything' is legal.
It's an incident that happened recently in Thailand when a film unit went there for shooting. The unit stayed there for 12 days. The renowned director who is also the producer of that comedy film gave big sum of money for the unit members to enjoy in the way they wanted.
The unit members enjoyed Thai massages of all kinds for those 12 days. They boarded in Royal Palace hotel (one of the two hotels that was shown in Yevadigola Vadidhey) where the director's room rent was Rs 1500 per day and for the unit members it was Rs. 1300. The director and his unit members spent about Rs. 2000 on body massages with girls. The unit members are sharing those experiences with many and praising the generosity of that director cum producer for showing them the 'rare happiness' of the world.
Well, there are stories about the Thailand experiences of unit members of the film 'Chirutha' as well.
