Chitchat with Seenu Vytla on Dubai Seenu

Ravi Teja's latest film Dubai Seenu directed by Seenu Vytla is all set for a release on 7 June. Nayana Tara plays female lead. Idlebrain.com caught up with the director Seenu Vytla at the last minute for some exclusive chit-chat. Here is more about Dubai Seenu

Is the censoring completed for Dubai Seenu?
Dubai Seenu got a clean " U " certificate yesterday. This film will be released with 230+ prints all over the world on June 7.

What is Dubai Seenu story all about?
Seenu is an ambitious chap whose only aim in life is to go to Dubai and earn money. Due to his obsession for Dubai, he is called as Dubai Seenu. The crux of the story is all about whether he made it to Dubai or not.

Tell us about the performance of the cast in this film?

1. Ravi Teja: While writing the story itself, I had Ravi Teja in mind. Hence I designed the character in such a way that it suits Ravi Teja's body language to 100%. He delivered energetic performance. In Venky I missed the emotions part by concentrating only on comedy. In Dubai Seenu, I made sure that entertainment and emotions are properly mixed.

2. Nayana Tara: Nayana Tara is not limited to songs in this film. Theentire story revolves around Nayana Tara’s character. There is strong Love & Romance in this film. She plays the character of a middle class girl who works as a Radio Jockey in Radio Mirchi. She also has a serious problem in her life. But she deals it in a positive way without slipping in to depression.

3. Sayaji Shinde: Sayaji Shinde has an extraordinary character in this film. I am very much impressed with his dedication towards his profession. I loved his attitude towards dubbing his own voice. He patiently dubbed for this film though it crossed his patience levels.

4. Sushant Singh: Sushant Singh has the done role of villain. There is some specialty for his character. I want it to be a suspense, till the movie is released.

5. Comedy gang: This film sports wide variety of comedy actors like Brahmanandam, Sunil, MS Narayana, Krishna Bhagawan, Venu Madhav etc. all these characters have something related to the main story line. There are no separate comedy tracks just for the heck of it. I think Brahmanandam and Krishna Bhagwan are going to provide maximum entertainment.

Tell us about the technicians?

Varma: I am introducing Varma, who worked as an assistant to Marthand K Vanekatesh in the past as editor for this film. He is a brilliant chap with excellent behavior. During the time of Dhee, he used to interact with me and he contributed a lot to the film.

Mani Sharma: The audio scored by Mani Sharma generated very good response. And it will increase exponentially after the release as the picturization of the songs will help it. He also provided very good background music.

Tell us about the producer Danayya?

He is a very comfortable producer to work with. The production values of the film are going to excellent because he provided whatever I had asked for.

What are going to be the highlights of Dubai Seenu?

I consider the following 3 points as highlights

1. Screenplay: The screenplay for this film is very different for a commercial film.
2. Story line: The basic story line of the film is extremely interesting.
3. Backdrop: This film has good backdrop of Dubai, Austria, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Dubai Seenu is releasing in two days. What is your gut feeling about the film?

I am very confident that Dubai Seenu will be a big success. Venky was a successful film but the range of success was limited because second half was weak. But in Dubai Seenu, we treated second half with excellent entertainment. New kind of screenplay and unpredictable twists will make Dubai Seenu an engaging fare.

What is your next project?

I am going to direct Ram. This film will be produced by Ram's uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. We have finalized the story line. We will work on treatment of the film in a couple of days.
