Chiranjeevi Will Not Do Shankardada-3

'Munnabhai Chale America ' is the sequel that is being made now with Sanjay Dutt again. Gossips are there that Chiranjeevi will do in the remake of the same again on the banner of same Gemini Film Circuit which is going to take the remake rights.

But the inside sources say that Chiranjeevi will not attempt that at all. The sequel-2 'Shankardada Zindabad' itself is done under pressures, hopes and obligations. The desires of Chiranjeevi weren't fulfilled by Gemini Film Circuit people in the matters of heroine etc. So the highly reliable sources say that Chiranjeevi may not agree for sequel-3.

At the same time, it is said that Chiranjeevi was advised not to do Shankardada series anymore as people get bored with monotony. Chiranjeevi may consider that suggestion as well.

Screen Buzz: Will Mamta be a Bhanumathi?

It seems that after legendary Bhanumathi, Telugu cinema may get another singer-actress in Mamta Mohandas, who sang for her Telugu films 'Rakhi' and 'Jagadam'.

The actress once again goes behind the microphone to croon songs for 'Yamadonga' under the supervision of veteran composer M.M. Keeravani. She plays female lead in the movie.

Mamta has received other singing and acting offers for Telugu films and says: 'I would like to do the same in Tamil films as well.'

She featured in successful Tamil film 'Silappadhikaram' ('The Anklet'), named after an ancient Tamil epic of the same name.

City Buzz: Cops book case on producer, director

The Chikkadpally police, on Tuesday booked cases against the producer, distributor and director of the film Operation Duryodhana for allegedly violating the rules of the censor board. The film which was being screened at Sandhya Theatre at RTC crossroads reportedly had 15 of the 41 scenes which were deleted by the Censor Board.

When contacted, censor board member, Prajoth Reddy said that the film violated the rules of the board by screening scenes which were deleted by the board. "I along with two other members of the board watched the film on Tuesday morning and later complained to the Chikkadpally police," Prajoth said. Earlier, the Censor Board reportedly directed the film director Posani Krishna Murali to delete some scenes from the film.

"We have booked cases against the producer, director and distributor of the film for circulating the prints. We also seized the prints from the possession of the theatre management," said Chikkadpally. inspector V.N.V. Satyanarayana.

But when asked about Mumaith Khan's unnecessary and over dosed exposing in the film he said, "I didn't make Mumaith to show off to cash with her. If that is my motive, I would have made a full length film placing her in lead role. Mumaith's exposing is required for the theme of the film. That's the reason I made her show off".
