Muhurat - Srikanth Nidhi Prasad film

Nidhi Prasad who directed minimum guarantee comedy films like Andaru Dongale Dorikithe and Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw is directing another film now with Srikanth, Prabhudeva and Charmme in the main leads.

Dasari sounded the clapboard, Tammareddy Bharadwaja switched on the camera and Puri Jagan directed the first shot.

Hero Srikanth said that this is his second film with director Nidhi Prasad and the first film with this banner. He said that this film is going to be an entertainer.

Director Nidhi Prasad said, “This film is a romantic entertainer. The shooting starts in the first week of October. Shooting will be completed in November and December. Talkie part of the film will be shot in Goa, Vizag and Hyderabad. Chakri composes music.”

Raju, Praveen, Mannem Venkata Ramana and Yarlagadda Venkat Rao are producing this film jointly on Silver Screen banner. Ramesh - Gopi pens dialogues.

Yama Gola Is Getting Benefited Big Way

It is known that Srikanth, Kaikala Satyanarayana and Venu are acting in the film 'Yama Gola' with hot heroines Meera Jasmine and Reema Sen in leads.

The title of the film 'Yama Gola- Mallee Modalayyaindi' itself is catchy. The audio of the film released a few days back and the response if pretty good and unbelievable, say trade sources. A few observations were made in this aspect:

Many wrongly perceive that this is the same NTR Jr's film 'Yama Donga'.
Some are considering it to be Sr NTR's old flick 'Yama Gola'
The music is from the same 'Adirindayya Chandram' and 'Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila' team those were hits in rural areas of AP.

With the above reasons, the audio of new 'Yama Gola' is running well, say the sources.

Srikanth Showing Extra Vigor With Meera Jasmine

'Yama Gola' is the film that is being made with Srikanth, Venu, Reema Sen and Meera jasmine. The shooting of the last song is going on at Bangkok starting from yesterday. .Sreenivasa Reddy is directing the film. It is said by the observers that Srikanth is showing extra vigor while dancing with Meera Jasmine. That's drive with passion and interest on the co-star, say many. The hot and sensuous beauty Meera Jasmine has the power to pump in vigor in Srikanth with her figure.

The shooting part of that song will last for 4 days and the RR work is also starting on parallel tracks. The film would release in this month only it seems. So, it's going to cash along with 'Yama Donga' that is releasing this month. The film is made with heavy sets and big budget.

We have to see how far this film wins at box office in a big tug with NTR's 'Yama Donga'.

Audio launch - Yamagola

Audio of latest socio-fantasy ‘Yamagola - malli modalaindi’ was released at a function arranged in Ravi Narayana Reddy auditorium, Jubilee Hills on the night of 24 July. This film stars Srikanth, Venu, Meera Jasmine and Reema Sen in the main leads. This function is attended by K Raghavendra Rao, Anam Vivekananda Reddy (Nellore MLA), Santosh Reddy (TRS), Kasi Viswanath, VV Vinayak, Srikanth, Sivaji, Srinivasa Reddy, Amar, Rajasekhar, Satish, Satyanarayana, Siva Nageswara Rao, Prasad, Balayya, Mallikharjuna Rao, AVS, ML Kumar Chowdary. Bhaskarabhatla, Jeevan Thomas, Sreemitra Chowdary, Kalamandir Kalyan, Sridhar Reddy Hema, Nukarapu Surya Prakash etc.

K Raghavendra Rao released the audio and gave the first unit to VV Vinayak.
Lyricist Bhaskarabhatla said, “I penned all five songs for this film. I remixed the Vemana satakam ‘Uppu Kappurambu’. I would like to thank Srikanth on this occasion who has been encouraging me right from my journalist days. Jeevan Thomas gave very good music.”
Santosh Reddy (TRS) said, “K Raghavendra Rao asked me if I acted in any films. I told him that we act in our daily lives everyday. There are no big actors than politicians. Functions like these give us chance to relax and get entertained. I wish that this film would become a big hit.”

We fixed the price of audiocassette at Rs. 18/- and audio CD at 20/- so that it becomes affordable for everybody. I released the audio of my earlier two films by VV Vinayak. This time he took the cassette from K Raghavendra Rao. I am sure that this film too will become a big hit.”
VV Vinayak said, “Srinivas Reddy and me started our career together as assistant directors. I released his earlier music albums too. I hope that this film will become a big hit.”
Kaikala Satyanarayana said, “I played the role of Yama in this film. All the films (Yamagola, Yamaleela, Yamudiki Mogudu etc) in which I acted as Yama became super hits. This film too will become a hit.”
Srikanth said, “Today belongs to the music director (Jeevan Thomas) and lyricist (Bhaskarabhatla). Music plays a big role in this film. Director Srinivasa Reddy has very good grip on music. Thomas gave good music. I also acted as Yama in this film.”

50 days function - Operation Duryodhana

50 days function of Srikanth’s latest film ‘Operation Duryodhana’ was held at Tummalapalli Kala Kshetram in Vijayawada on 19 July. Padma Sri Turlapati Kutumba Rao presided over the function. Buddha Prasad, Malladi Vishnu, L Vijay Kumar (IPS), Bachu Narasimha Babu, Srikanth, Nagababu, Chalapati Rao, Mumaith Khan, Prabhakar, Jackie, Mallikharjuna Rao, Phani Raj, Suresh Kalyan Krishna, Krishna Prasad and Mouli etc.

Srikanth's Sympathy For Monica Bedi

Srikanth is now showing his sympathy on Monica Bedi. He has been silent on this topic all these days and freshly as and when Monica has come out from the shackles of the fake-pass port case and her connections with Abu Salem, Srikanth said, "She is very good girl. We acted together in 'Taj Mahal'. I really wondered knowing that she was trapped in such big case".

Well, Monica on the other hand said that she will be continuing her filmy career from now onwards. She didn't open her lips at all when asked about Abu Salem.

Let us see if the Taj Mahal pair hits screen again. As a point to recall, Monica Bedi also appeared in the song 'Ramaa Chilakamma…' along with Chiranjeevi in 'Choodalani Undhi'.

Hero Srikanth Comes Forward To Help

Hero Srikanth comes forward to help flood victims by donating Rs 2 lakhs. He responded very promptly, acclaim many. He donated that to Chief Minister Welfare Fund.

"I know the woes of flood victims will be washed out with this small amount. I feel if any body comes forward taking inspiration from me, that will be a great help for worrying victims", said Srikanth.

He also said that Operation Duryodhana is the biggest hit in his career so far, and also extended his thanks for all the audiences those brought huge success for this film.

"Although released as a small film, it was made big hit by people", Srikanth added.
