Behind The Scene: Pavan Kalyan in the dock!
Nandini and Pavan Kalyan were married on May 17, 1997, but without giving her any divorce, he married Renu Desai subsequently, which amounts to bigamy. In her affidavit submitted to the court, Nandini accused 11 others, including Renu Desai, Chiranjeevi, his wife Surekha, his parents K Venkat Rao and Anjana Devi, another brother K Naga Babu, his wife Padmaja, sisters Vijaya Durga, Madhavi, Chiranjeevi's brother-in-law Allu Arvind, his wife Nirmala, Pawan Kalyan's another sister K Vasantha and her husband K Venkateswara Rao in her case. She also filed another case for maintenance in the Vizag family court on Tuesday under section 18 of Hindu adoptions and maintenance act seeking Rs 5 lakhs per month as maintenance. The family court judge issued directions to Pavan Kalyan to appear before the magistrate on July 31.
The case has created a sensation in the film circles, as Pavan Kalyan cancelled his shooting midway at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad and went missing. And in Visakhapatnam, Nandini and her family members went underground fearing attack by Pavan Kalyan fans.
Known for his arrogant behaviour, compared to a modest and polite Chiranjeevi, Pavan Kalyan may have to face a serious trial in the court, unless the issue is settled out of court, sources say.
