Yama Donga, one of the most eagerly awaited premium product of Tollywood is all set to hit the screens very shortly. This film is by far the costliest movies made in the Telugu Film Industry This film boasts of the biggest indoor set erected so far in whole of Asia and incidentally is the costliest individual set. This Yama Lokam set was erected over period of 90 days with 300 workers working on the set day and night. The magnitude of the set was so much that it took almost another one and half month to dismantle the same. This set was erected in Ramoji Film City and the no.of shooting days in this set was 42 days. Apart from this the other sets erected for four songs, the set of the Hero House and the Heroine House are also done with lot of richness and grand taste. Added to these grandeur sets, the graphics of this film are also bound to a visual treat to the eyes of the audience. The producers of this film have ensured qualities of high standard and are very confident that this film will be on par with Hollywood Standards and they are confident that this fill will be watched even by the foreigners and Hindi speaking audience too, purely because of the fact that the plot is a very interesting one in the form of a socio fantasy subject.

The production house has not compromised on any issues and wants to make a mark in the international market. The highlights of this film are far too many with music being the first amongst them. The audio of this film compromises of 6 songs and 4 bit songs and is getting released in the 1st week of July. One of the song is sung by Daler Mahendi and one of them by the Hero NTR and the Heroine Mamatha Mohandas.
A team of 80 professionals spread over three outsourcing houses spearheaded by EFX are working on the graphics and the production house is confident of coming out with the most impressive visuals. Some of the work was handled by Mr. Adel Eddelli a professional from Iran who has contributed heavily in the Hollywood films too.
Another highlight of the film is that it is hatrick combination of Director S.S. Rajamouli and NTR whose two earlier films Student No.1 and Simhadri were big block busters in Tollywood. Also the film by far has a large star cast in the form of the biggest names in Tollywood. Padmashri Dr.M. Mohan Babu is playing an equally important role as the hero and is bound to create waves with his performance as lord Yama. Apart from this, the film has seven heroines namely Khusboo, Priyamani, Mamatha Mohandas, Rambha, Preethi Jhingania, Navneet Kaur, Archana. Probably this is the only film in Telugu were the hero shakes a leg with all the above heroines except Khusboo, which is bound to variety and spice to this film. The other important stars are Dr. Brahmanandam, Ali, M.S. Narayana, Raghubabu, Jayprakash, Rajiv Kanakala etc. The role of the villain is donned by Narendra Jha who played the role of Bajji Rao in the film Chatrapathi.
The excellent art work by popular art director Mr. Anand Sai is well complimented by the cinematographer Mr. K.K. Senthil Kumar who has bee given a free hand by the production house and the Director to light up the sets in a very tasteful way. And though the cost of the film had gone up substantially because of his excellent lighting schemes, the producers have no qualms about it as it is financially enhancing the richness of the film.
Director S.S. Rajamouli who has given 5 successive block busters, carries a major responsibility on his shoulders as he has to ensure that this film has to be better than all his previous films.
