Behind The Scene: 'Drunken Talk' Of IAS Officers!
Around 10 IAS officers, all belonging to a particular community, were the guests of a powerful Congress MP’s lavish dinner a couple of days ago which had liquor freely flowing. In an inebriated condition, the honourable MP started attacking chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his governance. Caught unawares, all officers, several of them senior and said to be in the good books of YSR, were taken aback by the scathing attack. Before calling it a day around midnight, the senior babus sounded a word of caution to their junior colleagues: do not comment about the party or what transpired there. They even checked the next morning that the diktat given the night before was being followed. Of course the advice was not heeded!
