C Ram Prasad to direct Kalyan Ram

Noted cinematographer C Ram Prasad is going to wield the megaphone. This film stars Kalyan Ram Nandamuri in the main lead. NTR Arts that produced blockbuster Athanokkade is going to produce it. Pooja ceremony will be held on Monday (9 July). Regular shooting of the film starts on 15 August.

Pyramid Saimira to release Toss

Pyramid Saimira that entered Telugu film industry with a bang by Rajnikanth’s Sivaji is going release Raja’s next film Toss on 12 July. Upendra, Priyamani and Kamna Jetmalani did the other lead roles. Priyadarshini Ram who made his debut with Manodu directed this film. This is the first Telugu film to be shot with Viper Film Stream Camera. Dev Amar produced Toss.

Marudhuri Raja turns director

Marudhuri Raja who penned dialogues for over 175 films in his career is going to test his luck as director. He will be directing a film to be produced by Jagannatha Reddy on Bhavishya films banner. More details later.

AVS to direct Kothi Mooka

Popular comedian AVS had earlier directed three films. He is starting his fourth film as director very soon. On the occasion of special date (07/07/07), he had informed the media on Saturday that he is directing a new film with three top comedians as main heroes. They are Sunil, Brahmanandam and Ali. The film is titled "Kothi Mooka…" and has tagline of Tokalookate Takkuva. He informed that the film will be a laugh riot and it stars entire comedians in the film in various roles.

Tarun – Supergood films Nava Vasantham

Two decades ago, Tamil director Vikraman's "Nava Vasantham" released into Telugu and became a big hit. Megasupergood Films is making another film with similar name. "Nava Vasantham" is the title confirmed for the production company's current film with Tarun. It also has Akash, Sunil, Rohith, Priyamani and Ankitha in the main roles.
The film is remake of Tamil hit "Punnagai Desam" and is directed by Shah Jahan. S A Rajkumar is scoring the music.
