Vishal and Nayanatara together

Vishal who made a name with his action entertainers is coming to Telugu. Till now, he is popular with his dubbed movies like Pandem Kodi, Pogaru, Premachadarangam, etc. He is now coming up with a straight Telugu film that will be launched on the occasion of Independence Day. Nayanatara is acting with him in this film. It is first time that they are acting together.
GK Film Corporation produces it which is directed by a newcomer. Upendra is playing a key role. Nazar, Kota Srinivasa Rao and others are also acting in it.

Mumaith Khan does risky action scenes

Taking cue from 'Lady Amitabh' Vijayashanti, Mumaith Khan too is flexing her muscles and doing fights and stunt scenes. Mumaith Khan is playing a cop in "Maisamma IPS". Like Vijayashanti did for "Karthavyam", Mumaith Khan is not just performing a tough cop role but is also doing action sequences.
She does the risky fights for this film that are never shot in a lady oriented film. Currently, the action episodes are picturised at Alumunium Factory near Gachibowli in Hyderabad. Mumaith does them with ease and she is glad that the film is giving a chance to do more than playing for songs and acting.
Bharat Parepalli is directing it. The highlight of the film is it has script by none less than Dr Dasari Narayana Rao and his wife presents the film.
