Nostalgia: Why SVR Used To Shout That Way?

It is known that SVR used to shout in a typical way amidst rendering the dialogues, especially in Mythological films. Why is that so?

Once, SV Ranga Rao asked writer CS Rao if he knows the real reason for his shout. Then Rao said that would be his mannerism.

But SVR clarified saying that his speech rolls and fumbles as he speaks fast.

"So to put a break on that flow I use those shouts and continue the dialogue", said SVR.

SVR hailed from Godavari district and hence he speaks faster as per the slang. That way SVR corrected his drawback and gave an impression that shouting amidst dialogue was his mannerism.
