Hyderabad International Film Fest from Jan 3rd
The 2nd season of the Hyderabad International Film Festival is all set to begin on the 3rd of January and extend up to the 1oth. Films will be screened at Prasads Multiplex as well as at the Amaravathi Theater in lakadi ka pul. The committee includes industry veterans like Vijayanirmala, Annapurna, Ayyappa P Sharma, Arjuna Raju, Vasu Rao, Allani Sridhar, Y.Kiran, VSR Swamy, Pothuri Ranga Rao, Sai Suvana, Krishna Rao Kesav, Veersisetty Hazarath Babu, Poonam Ranga Rao and Prabhu. It seems like director Puri Jagannadh will be swinging the magic wand to revive the career of actor Prabhas. Prabhas, whose last film, Munna, bombed at the box office, has signed up with the maverick director for the film Bujjigadu…..made in Chennai. The film will bring together Trisha and Prabhas for the third time. But adding extra spice to this treat will be veteran actor-film maker Mohan Babu. The actor will be portraying the role of Trisha’s brother in the film. One will have to just wait and watch as to how this combination will work.
