Gangadhar mesmerizes Dallas
Prominent Telugu playback singer, Music composer and renowned as 'Apara Ghantasala' GanaGandharva Gangadhar has mesmerized the Dallas Audience with his mellifluous tone and tunes.
At a concert titled 'Bhakthi Geethanjali" organized jointly by IndyaFusion restaurant (www.indyafusion.com) and Radio Salam Namaste (www.rsn1049.com), Gangadhar has captivated a fully packed hall of Telugu audience. Gangadhar commenced the program with the rendering of 'Ganapathi Stuthi' and moved through other intricate numbers with full of Bhakthi Bhava. These numbers drew applause from the audience. Gangadhar simply mesmerized the audience and made them spell-bound. He actually carried the audience with him into the abodes of Bhakthi and Bhagavdgitha with his pleasant songs, slokas laced with a master commentary and interpretation of Bhagavdgitha. His performance was so enthralling, as evidenced from the standing ovation that he received at the end of rendering his last song of the program "siva sankaree".
He explained to the audience about the 'Bhagavdgitha Foundation' founded by him and his audio project of rendering Bhagavadgitha in all languages and recording the CDs.
Gangadhar was aptly felicitated by Sri Raja Reddy, President of TANTEX (Telugu Association of North Texas) and Sri Jaipal Reddy, President & CEO of Radio Salaam Namaste. Mr & Mrs Lavu Ramakrishna and Mr & Mrs Gavirneni Ramesh and many other guests have pledged their support to the Bhagavdgitha Foundation. Prominent Telugu persons and music lovers of Dallas like Sri Thotakura Prasad, Chandra Kanneganti, Sankar Bandi, Manohar Reddy, Srinivasa Rao, Nageswara Rao, RadhaKrishna Ravi have graced the occasion and enjoyed the event.
